Nice picture. I liked being the only child until my sister, and then a few brothers, came along. Dad was there working his ass off, keeping us in the middle class, mom stayed home taking care of a large family, the oldest of whom (me) was a hyperactive handful. Not sure how much credit to give my mom for my liberal opinions. Out of necessity she was more of a disciplinarian, while my dad was more generous. Like most children of my era I idolized my father while under valuing my mother. Hugging was not a part of my childhood but it was for my younger siblings. Being hyperactive I got in trouble quite a bit. Fortunately for me this was before Ritalin and I eventually channeled my energy into sports and later just grew out of hyperactivity. Have fun with that bit of psychology. We moved around a lot and the family was big, but other than those factors we were a pretty normal family for the time. I had my resentments and I did not know how good I had it until my friends shared stories about their own childhoods. I cannot imagine having a parent as an adversary.

So, the government is taking $11,515 and then giving back $1,400 in 'RELIEF'.

That's a total scam, just based upon the math.

Who would support a bill that costs 8 times more than it gives back in relief to the people it is suppose to help?
