You are correct that they CURRENTLY technically operate with impunity, since they are not being punished, for example, by the CRA.

However, you are incorrect in stating that doing so will result in their “downfall”, because, by definition, the downfall would be punishment and therefore negates impunity. You should have typed “with disregard” or “reckless abandon” … or maybe try out a different ‘word of the day’ that you read while watching Sesame Street.

Now, pick up your toys, climb back in your stroller and FO unless you have something positive or useful to add.
