1/2hr vs 45 vs 60min

Could someone fill me in on the differences? I understand YMMV, but what does the extra time provide for?

I'd have thought the differences, as fshes said, were self evident. Is it that you're concerned you or she won't be able to think of things to do, to while away all those minutes? You gotta stop thinking 'necessary events' like 'he shoots, he scores'. The real fun is playing the game for the fun of playing not scoring and clockwatching.

some guys take longer, some guys like to chat with the lady, some guys take 90 or 120 minutes because that's their thing.

not all girls are good for more than 30 minutes. they have a routine. go longer with girls you click with.

Ive only ever had 30 minute sessions, however if I were to extend the time, i'd spend the extra minutes having fun massaging her ( more or less ) ... lol

Another major difference (which I've yet to hear anyone make a sensible explanation for) is the paradox of how much more expensive it is to book for 60 minutes vs. 30 or 45 minutes. To take just one place:

For a 30 minute VIP the fee is $100. To bump yourself up from 30 to 45 minutes costs and extra $25 ($125 for 45 minutes), but to bump yourself up from 45 to 60 minutes costs an extra $75 ($200 for 60 minutes)!!!! Similarly, if you combine the room fee and VIP treatment, 30 minutes is $140, 45 minutes is $175 ($35 more than 30 minutes), and 60 minutes is $260 ($85 more than 45 minutes).

I've used HFH as the example but you get similar results with all the major spots. I don't understand why it becomes so much more expensive to bump up to one hour from 45 minutes, but needless to say it means probably a lot fewer people book hour sessions. That's clearly the way they want it since it's priced that way, but the question is why?

Huh? If $100 buys you a half hour, I'd expect $200 to buy an hour, just like you said OW. That makes it $50 for 15 minutes, so the 45min is a bargain at $125 instead of $150. There may be some incentivizing of the 45min session going on, but I can't see a problem in a one hour session costing the same as a pair of half-hours.

Look at it on a cost per minute basis.

The VIP rates for HFH are:

30 min - $140 (or $4.67/minute)

45 minutes - $175 (or $3.89/minute)

60 minutes - $260 (or $4.33/minute)



Not surprised the spas want to push the 45 minute session, which is just a 30 session with more chitchat. Easy money.

They should look at the base price of the service and preparation, then add the time.

For example, if they set the price for just walking in the door at $100, then add $50 for every 30 minutes you have 100+50=$150 for the first half hour.
Then you have 100+50+50=$200 for 1 hour, which isn't twice the price of 30 minutes because they haven't prepared for you twice.

In the SP world the hourly rate is almost always less than double the half hour rate - that's what I would expect... just like almost everywhere else in business, the more units you buy, the lower cost per unit. I think we're all agreed that's what's already happening at the 45 minute rate, but not at the 60 minute rate, so one key difference is that the 45 minute rate is a deal, whereas the 60 minute rate is not.

45 minutes gives them time to prep the room for the next appointment. 60 minutes means that the room prep will cut into the next clock hour and most appointments are made on quarter hour intervals. I wouldn't think many guys call and ask for an appointment at 1:10.

The girls also have more opportunity to make money if they see more clients with shorter appointments than if they see less clients with longer appointments because the tips or fees rarely double from 30 or 45 minutes to the hour.

Don't forget, it is a business for the MPs and MPAs. The good ones make you feel so special that we tend to forget part of the equation.

I had a problem with this once many years ago at SRM. The rates for 60 minutes were incredibly steep (and unposted). To make matters worse the MPA was more than an hour late for work and then joked at the beginning about the extras being free. I was lucky I was carrying extra cash.

Having said that, I rarely encounter MPA who spend the "extra" 10-15 min to give me shall we say "mind f*ck" and no stimulation. Maybe I am just lucky to have MPA who do not engage blatant rip off.

BTW, as mentioned before, never a good idea to spend 60 min at MP since for the same amount of fee, you could get almost all menu you can imagine with a SP at reputable incalls. Dumb move to pay a premium for restricted menu.

I find that it is a waste to do 45 min or more in an Asian spa. The girls seem to have everything timed for a 30 minute finish for what ever time you pay.

The thirty minute period is the industry standard. That said, spas in Mississauga and Brampton offer forty minute sessions for maybe ten dollars more on the house fee, and without any extra in-room charges. This is a good deal, bearing in mind that if a spa is not busy when you are there, many girls will let the appointments run longer anyways, without an extra charge to the house. When longer appointments increase the in-room costs, as they tend to in Toronto, then no, it's not good business for the client. Better to go with the standard half hour. On the other hand, with an SP I have never booked less than the full hour. This is just the way I do things.
