First, I want to stress that this is a review of the establishment, not of the masseuses within the establishment. I had an experience there years ago and had no interest of returning until all of these new sexier ads started to show up. I should also stress that I did not request any extras nor did I receive any.
1. Booking process โ each time I called early to book and received multiple calls/texts within an hour of the appointment to confirm. If you donโt answer the first text, a second one within a minute, then calls. I donโt mind a quick call to remind but these โare you coming yetโ calls/texts need to stop; they also must understand that customers CANNOT answer to texts when they are driving to their establishment, most of us don't have the luxury of having a chauffeur.
2. Confusion - The name the booking person told me were irrelevant because when I spoke to the masseuse, I got a different name.
3. The Wait - The first time, tried to book the last appointment of the day, only one other gentleman there waiting. I was told that the masseuse was running a little late. I found out eventually that there was only one masseuse, so it was a huge 45 min. wait until this gentleman finished. If the desk person had been honest about wait times, I would not have waited. The second time, booked a much earlier appointment hoping for better results, the desk lady bluntly told me that I was late, I pointed at my watch to say that I was on time, she apologized but told me that a walk-in got there right before me so I have to wait. Looking at the waiting area, looks like the ownerโs whole family is there, grandma, dad, children etc. watching TV like it is their living room. I opted not to wait, it would have been insanely uncomfortable sitting there and wait.
4. Privacy โ the walls to the massage room is paper thin, I can easily listen to the conversation at the front desk and waiting room, and I am sure they can hear everything the customers/masseuses do as well. To me, it is hard to relax when you can hear all sorts of voices through the walls.
5. Misleading ads - The ads are way too sexy for what the masseuse told me that she is allowed to provide. I will leave it at that.
Again, I want to stress that I did receive a reasonable massage for what I paid for, so no concerns about the masseuse. My concern is really with the management of the establishment. I may have been just unlucky but want to give you guys a headโs up so you can budget your time accordingly.
