So here's the deal...
I'm 26 and have never even been kissed, and I'm incredibly self-conscious about it. To make matters more stressful, I'm also a lesbian. My problem is that I dread conversation among coworkers, involving relationships etc. I hate whenever the topic of men, sex, and so on comes up because I worry my coworkers will ask me personal questions about my own sex life and I won't know how to respond. Not only am I embarrassed about my zero dating experience, but I have the added joy (sarcasm) of having to come out. Unfortunately, many people don't seem to understand how a woman can know she's a lesbian if she's never been with a woman...*sigh* I guess I'm more worried about how to answer questions that would give away my lack of dating experience, more so than I'm worried about coming out. Basically, what I'm looking for is advice/examples of how to respond to those questions. Please don't say "just be honest" because I know that already, I'm just looking for ways to word my responses or dodge the questions if possible. I'd put me at a bit of ease to at least have something prepared to say so I'm not flustered and don't turn all red on the spot.
Thanks for reading.
Also, you might advise me not to come out at work, but I've found from past experiences that the stress of hiding it was too much.
