First time visitor that managed to find idem (boring but good lookers) new fantasy (varied reasonable selection, nice facility bar and reasonable prices) pirate club (middle of what seemed no-where and only a bartender and no girls) told to come back later but never did. Del Rey/Key Largo basically same place same girls but they acted more aggressive in the Del Rey for some reason. "Where you from" and "what your problem" repeated over and over. 100 dollars and 1 shot my problem A few blocks south of the main square with all the taxis and the big church I saw 2 stunning ladies walk into a place called 777. Another skimpy dressed one hanging by the door sort of like a greeter. Images of playing cards on the 2 story corner building. Wanted the taxi to drop me off but he went on about it being dangerous so I passed. Not speaking Spanish I was unable to discern what the place was. Looked like a casino strip joint? Anyone have any Info?

That would the area close to Pantera Rosa. The taxi driver was right, not a good area, especially for a first timer in a Tico joint ALONE with no spanish. That's a recipe for trouble.

It is a bar on 6th or 8th Ave down the block from al dia and across from a big bicycle shop.

also there a a couple of MP's further down Calle 4 ....828 and Masion

an area most CRT guy would not care for......way to gritty
