A newbie question or two

Thank God for the Internet. I joined and did the VIP membership thing two days ago, and already I am learning all kinds of stuff that will make my upcoming trips to SJ way more fun! (I am going twice and spending 20 days over the course of the next 30 days.)
My newbie question is basically comes from a couple of postings I read. I am 57 and basically seek women closer to my own age than say, less than half of it, which is what most of the chicas at the clubs seem to be (from what I see in the photo galleries.)
Anyway, I read a posting by a guy who said he likes bargains and finds them in smaller clubs, and I am thinking both bargains and middle-aged chicas might be found in the clubs that are not exactly on the A-list.
Are these clubs safe? I want to try some of these massage parlors like Krysis and Centro de Masajes. Is there any definitive way to find out if they are safe besides going there and seeing what happens?
I far prefer MPs to bars, but would it be worth my while to swing by the BM and talk to some of my fellow mongers about SJ101?

Definitely stop by the BM at 5.00pm any day for CRT Happy Hour. At the tables by the windows on the Monkey Bar side.There are always a few CRT guys there who will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Dont worry about your age-Im 59 and had a great time on both my trips.

If you like MPs then definitely start out by leveraging your VIP priveleges at ZB. You will not be dissapointed.

I also would suggest stopping by the Blue Marlin for happy hour some days.I enjoy sampling the local places myself and will be there a couple of times for a few days each over the next month.Anouther good massage place that is a bit more local is Oasis they have had very good talent when I have visited and I have seen many good reports realtive to the place(10000col.for an hour full service,great value).I would stongly suggest not waking alone at night especially in the local areas,taxis are quite reasonable.Don't worry about your age,at 49 I'm about average for the group and having the time of my life.

MPs

Krysis and Centro de Massajes are at different ends of the price spectrum. If you are going to Centro de Massajes, try the Park Hotel, if it is open. It is quite close. Both are in fairly scruffy neighborhoods, so be careful.
