Advice for 6 hour layover

I'm looking to hit some action during a 6 hour layover in sanjose. It will be from noon to 5 pm or so. Mps are likely the way to go? Recommendations on places or an area considering time?

Go to RELAX. Tell your cab driver "El centro cerce el Del Rey, pero mas abajo cerca el paseo de los estudiantes. En en el edificio AyA, doble izquierda, y en el proximo semaforo, doble izquierda, sigue cien metros hacia el senal IDEM y para. Translation: Take me to near the Del Rey, down the hill near paseo estudiantes. When you get to the AyA (Big blue building) turn left. Turn left at the next stoplight and go 100 meters. Across the street from IDEM is Relax. It has the small blue and red lit "Open" sign. Ring the bell and go on up.

You will have to pay your exit tax before taking off again.

actually when you arrive, double check with the customs agent. Last time I heard that if your layover is less than certain # of hours (i think it was 6)and you're leaving CR, I'm not sure if you need to pay the exit tax.

could also try veronicas which is right when you enter downtown off paseo colon. is alot closer than going all the way into relax by Idem.
For only ten dollars, a cab will wait for you to finish and take you right back to the airport.

Dude, look on the map. There are lots of places in Paseo Colon. Oh, your not a VIP. Veronicas, Oasis, Club Extasis, and VIPs. Do a seach on any of those names and you should get directions.
