Air Conditioning

Do any of the MPs have air conditioned rooms?

When the heat and humidity are up, I'm not ;-)

Or, can someone recommend a chica with her own air conditioned place?

I will be staying with a family group out of San Jose and would like to check out the chica scene downtown during the daytime.

Suggestions?

Here's the scoop on AC for some places:

New Fantasy- DEFINITELY has A/C... I froze my balls off after taking a shower there.

Zona Blue- No, but it's always very cool in there, never uncomfortable or hot.

Oasis- It's an enclosed place, so I'm guessing yes, but not sure. Once again, it's very cool in there, regardless.

Europa 2000- umm, no...

Don't worry about A/C in SJ. I had a hotel room with A/C and never turned it on the entire week I was there. Listen to the Vets, A/C is not needed in SJ.

I see this posted a lot and disagree.
It was hot as hell Memorial Day weekend- when it's upper 80's and 95% humidity I want some A/C and will not stay in a hotel without it again. Nothing like going back to the room for an afternoon session or a power nap and being miserable sweating like a pig.
But the original post was about MP's and it looks like NF is the place for you

Where did you stay! I have always had a/c. I am trying to remember the avg local temp in SJ in July. I'd better check some notes!

You can get by without A/C in many places, but for me it's easier to sleep at night with it. And for boinking, I too need the AC, or I get overheated.

Those of you who don't have this problem don't understand, and I'm not about to go into it further. But I will say that I would only do a place like 747 in the morning before the sun has a chance to heat up the roof and the rooms.

herbf, what time of year were you in CR?

You may not need A/C to sleep comfortably in SJ, but it doesn't hurt. Sure, it certainly can get cool enough to sleep at night with just a fan even during the summer months. But thats not what ov was asking about. If you're not just laying there asleep but are generating some of your OWN heat and/or you're going for a little afternoon delight, which also happens to be the hottest part of the day, then A/C becomes much more than just a mere convenience.

One place with A/C that others forgot to mention is IDEM, which is sort of a special situation. The upstairs rooms just have fans and poor circulation which can make for some real sweaty sex, unless you go there later at night. However, if you don't mind paying a couple of thousand colones more you can get an air conditioned room on the 1st floor. You just gotta know to ask for it.
