Got in the other day, saw my favorite Karen, so glad she is back.
Strictly legit, but worth it as I find a deep pressure massage is hard to find. Karen definitely knows what she is doing and I can appreciate that.
Very smart young lady, pleasant and easy to talk with.
May the owner can be a little ornery and misleading, always trying to push the other ladies. There’s a good reason the others don’t have repeat clients, but hard to manage the girls I would imagine.

I stopped by there recently for a visit and had an hour with May (the owner). She also runs Interlude but it's shut for the time being due to short staffing. I arrived on time but was made to wait because some dude was talking to hear himself talk in the adjacent room to the waiting area. By the time I was on the table in the room it was about 10 minutes late. No biggie. She'll tack that on the end.
I asked for a medium to hard pressure massage and away she went. She is one of these that is VERY light on the oil, so it tended to pull a bit on the skin on occasion. She continued with the massage, some deep spots, many light strokes and an overall average massage. Despite my best efforts to encourage some grazing, she wasn't going for it. The draping was kept in place the whole time too. Ah well. And she shorted the ten minutes too.
But we had a good conversation and she was enjoyable to chat with. But I felt that it was one of those end-of-day efforts. But I'm a sucker for a good challenge so I may return to see how a different time of day goes with her.

There is another woman there by the name of Mary that now works there that I may try next time. I have no intel on her at all other than a name. Further incentive to return and TOFTT.

Had to go to for a legitimate massage today so went to Amazing. Tried Interlude as it is closer but May sent me to Amazing. (they are still running ads for both places). Not a huge fan of May so had Sarah. Sarah also uses little oil, enough for no friction but not too much to get oily clothes. Sarah is a black (sorry...if not pc, not sure what to say these days...colored?) lady, seems very nice. Her massage technique is a little different, lots of elbows and pressure points, less of the long strokes. She has a very deep massage, in fact I think most people would find it too painful and strong. However, I did feel quite nice afterwards. 100% legit. Return? not sure...would like to try others as well...wasn't the best massage, but by far not the worst. Will see how I feel in the next couple of days!

upon leaving there was a very well dressed lady in the waiting area. Instantly noticeable since most people aren't dressing up these days...I'm talking black heels, black pants, makeup (too bad for the mask...). Tall and slim. I thought it was odd that there was a female client, but Amazing is legit so I just assumed she was a client. She was chatting with May about appointments, and when I left she said thank you and bye! Asian lady. I guess she works there! If anyone has any idea who she is...I'd like to know!

I never know what term to use, black, coloured, African American, person of colour. not out to offend anyone, just not up on the latest terms some times

Most black people in Canada are not African American. That term is used to describe the descendents of slaves because they have no records of their true country of origin. Terms haven't changed much in the last while, just some simple refinements. People of Colour (POC) is fine, but typically used to refer to all non-white people when talking about groups, though an individual might say "As a POC..." in general terms.

"Coloured" is a southern US term used as a more polite version of "ni**er" and is no longer acceptable thanks to that tie.
