Any places like the DelRey near the Courtyard Marriott ??

Heading to SJ in a few weeks - business trip, only a few hotels we can stay in - is there any type bars etc similar to the DelRey near (walking distance)the Marriott? I've heard HDR is 15 min cab ride.

There is nothing like the Del Rey anywhere else in Costa Rica (or the Western Hemisphere). Just take a taxi, it's not a long drive. But if you're on business and with co-workers, can you bring back hookers anyway?

Utilize the love motels downtown, or hot the MP's.

Well, since business is paying air and hotel, taxi it to HDR. There is a 3 hr place (via Brother Orange) called La Oficina, Avenida 9, Calle 1. 6500 col or 8500 col with jucuzzi. I was there recently. Clean enough and perfect for your needs. Also, you should include 3 hrs when negotiating with the girl, then she stays the whole time. Don't forget the condoms. Don't drink the water. Do smell and taste the flower!

HDR is like a famous landmark..if you are in CR you should take the cab over especially when its only 15min away. even if you're not in the mood for "takeout" you should go just to check out the scene.

I do not know to many people that could go and not get a take out...... Especially first timers. Go to HDR and pick one out then walk across the street get a room for 30.00 and have some fun. Trust me know one would ever know : :twisted:

i have been to CR 5 times and many nights at HDR and will be going there most nights - just looking for anything near Marriott that slightly resembles the HDR that we can walk to. any bars near that has chicas to pick up etc
