Any recent Pantera Rosa intel?

With Memorial Day and the next Sexy Bitch tour fast approaching, was wondering if anyone can provide some fresh intel on Pantera. This place had for a while been mine as well as many others here favorite strip club - reasonable prices for drinks and services, and very hot and fun girls. But I've gotta say, I've been really let down the last couple of times there on the tours. Once (a Thursday) the place was totally dead and what girls were around mostly sat on their asses; the next time (a Saturday) is was Ultimate Sausagefest night - Ticos filling every available seat, and barely any girls in sight. And I've got no idea about talent these days - it seems most of my favorites from past visits (Perla, Sandra, Stephanie, Sasha) have flown the coup.

So, especially if anyone gets out there tonight, a report would be very much appreciated.

After the last Memorial Day jaunt to the PR I can only say "Clip Joint!" and I won't ever be going back unless enough guys tell me that it has changed substantially. Girls gulping back girl drinks as fast as possible and what I consider to be high prices for substandard rooms compared to elsewhere.

Has anything changed? I'm always willing to revisit if it has.

Let me see.... I've been there 4 times in the last 2 months, and it's DEFINITELY STILL a clip joint... The girls CHUG their drinks. They're way overpriced, and the rooms are shitty...

Having said that, I much prefer it to Centerfolds, Molin Rojo, or a myriad others...

The only one that's (In my opinion) nicer to sit in to watch the show is Atlantis, but BOY is THAT a rip off... We won't go there...

The girls at PR are still very pretty, and the service is quite nice. I've had several of the girls there, and I gotta say that Christina is the best I've had there, but YMMV, as I had a friend tell me she was awful to him...

One sure bet, and she has been for a long time is Odalis (shortish girl, with a bob hair cut) VERY coquettish, and quite a good performer (although I don't like her BJ, but that's a matter of personal taste - she certainly was eager)...

I found that if you tell them that they'll get a good tip if they stop asking for drinks, they'll slow it down...

They should only be like US $27 or something like that (depending on exchange rates) for 15 min...

These days, to have a good night in the clubs you almost have to go in with the idea that you're just going to hang for an hour or so and enjoy the show, then move on. Enjoy the tease, buy the girls a few drinks, and leave it at that. And be aware that as a gringo, it's understood up front that you're bringing big bucks in there (at least as compared to their normal Tico customers), of which their primary goal is to relieve you of as much as possible as quickly as possible.

If you do feel yourself compelled to spring for a private session in the club, never pay the initial asking price - counter offer with what you're prepared to pay, and if they don't accept, leave it at that. Trust me, it won't hurt their feelings if you take a pass.

Something else to keep in mind is that at least in the past at Pantera, the kind of "bang for the buck" you got depended a great deal on the girl. Some girls won't suck down the drinks quite so quickly and generally give you a fair shake - I listed a few of them in the first post. But others - "ripper girls" as Southsider identified them in a post some months back - will unscrupulously squeeze you for as much as they possibly can. The ultra-hot Nica Dana was particularly notorius for this - in fact, it got really ugly in there last year during a Memorial Day visit when I called her out for shorting me on time in the room.

I used to like the place but now I agree it's a clip joint. I was in there on May 4th and I did not really care for it. Free admission with CRT VIP club but no drinks included. Had to pay for the first beer (which used to be gratis with VIP membership).

Also, the room rate qouted (the little sleazey rooms by the dance floor) was $50. I laughed and sent them on their way especially since they were saying con condom for a bj.

I did go to Tango India, which is a clip joint also, but I actually had a good time. It was $20 for three beers (free admission with CRT VIP). Quality of women was way above Pantera Rosa and I just took in the sights so it only cost me 20 bucks.

I think you guys can work out a deal for a SB Tour where you rent out the airplane for some time with a few of the hotties. It may cost a few bucks, but the airplane is pretty cool and you would have it exclusively for the members on the SB Tour.

Of course, D' Pelufo's rocks. If Lizette is still working there, I would recommend her for a private encounter. PSE is an understatement.

You got fleeced my friend... I was there 3 days before that, and I got 2 free drinks with my CRT card... (granted, I got the 2nd one b/c of a miscommunication between servers - both thought they were bringing me my first drink)

Correct my friend......that's why I don't like the place anymore. Also, the price for the sleazey room was also a rip-off. The talent was marginal at best. Other venues offer a better time. Once they start pulling the bullshit price/drink games, I stay away. There are other places to go to where the talent blows away Pantera Rosa (NEXT....Place).

In theory, I couldn't agree more - in fact, that's pretty much how each visit USED to be prior to 2007. But for some reason, so far this year it hasn't been happening. Maybe it's just bad timing - as Tman has often noted, you can never expect consistency from these places. But unless conclusively convinced otherwise beforehand, I'm not going to chance a tour stop on it again.
