ZONA BLUE is closet , also NEW FANTASY if open :?: print the map, use the map, have FUN. i would suggest becoming a CRT VIP for only $36 you will get access to pictures, discounts at resteraunts and at places like ZONA BLUE, KAMUR, SPORTSMENS alot of savings. do always take a taxi at night. pura vida

Zona Blue and New Fantasy are an easy 5-minute walk from the Del Rey.

One thing to remember, San Jose is basically a very small city when you thinking in terms of downtown.

For someone in average shape a lot of MP's are an easy walk ie: Europa 2000, 70E, Eros, Idem, 747 as well as the previously mentioned ZB & NF.

For someone in good shape basically any MP on Don Gordo's map can be reached by walking. Please remember that this is in day light only after dark take a cab.

I agree that zona blue is an easy 5 to 7 minute walk and well worth the effort. My routine while in CR the week of 3/13/05 through 3/21/05 was a 930am visit to ZB. Then back to the Del Rey for a little rest. About 530pm I walked to Idem with great anticipation followed with a big smile while riding back to the Del Rey in a cab, about $1 US. Dinner and drinks and the chase is on for the BM and Key largo girls. Negotiate well with these lovely ladies and you won't be disapointed. Negotiate poorly, and well, you get what you negotiate for.

I personnaly enjoy the no hasssle MP's and always was pleasantly surprised. This was my first trip to CR and found this board extremely helpful, especially RBC100's post sometime at the beginning of March,(thanks RBC).

Take the advice, Cab it at night, walk with confidence during the day, check your map. No problem.
