Anyone been to Kamur lately?

I'm wondering if the new owners have made any positive or negative changes is the few weeks that they have owned the place. In case you don't know,the new owners are the same people who own The Pirates Club which I am told has everything going for it except the quality of the chicas.

As I've already posted elsewhere, if anything, the Pirate guys seem to have a talent for scaring away high quality talent rather than attracting it. Talent at Kamur last Thursday night was nowhere near what it used to be - with Tamara and Sabrina the only remaining holdovers from the prior regime, and no new good quality talent in sight. They also seem to have done away with Newman's "no silicone" policy - a very unfortunate development.

Physically, the club now has some sort of private VIP lounge across from the entrance after you walk up the stairs, but I didn't see evidence of any other changes.

A visit to the Pirate Club itself was even more discouraging. We actually had a good time there in two visits in September - the girls were in their little Pirate uniforms, there were 7-8 out on the floor, and they were fun and lively. This time (on Friday night), the few girls present simply sat at the bar and ate or smoked, showing no interest whatsoever in whatever customers happened to be present.

Hate to write such an outright negative review, as I've met the owner and think he's a likable, stand-up guy - but things need to change fast.
