Approached by a girl in Cambridge

I was heading home earlier in Cambridge along Histon Road when I was approached by a girl who offered her services. She looked pretty good and I was interested, but I've only dealt with girls over websites, and in the end I passed. I wanted to see what you guys think I should do if this ever comes up again, I'm probably just thinking with my dick and want a second opinion. Is it even legal, I think I've seen news articles about the girls in the area,and police raids. Just seems a shame to pass up a nice girl.

Welcome to the forum! For what it's worth I would say that you made the right decision. I'm sure she was a lovely lady, but you have to be very careful with the street girls, some are not what they seem and there are a great deal more risks associated with accepting their services. Personally i'd stick with the girls Reviewom websites, parlours and do your research before making your decision to avoid disappointment.

Definitely safest to pass. Could have been a great session, or could have been a honey trap with baseball bats at the end of it (let alone a run-in with the Law!).

Leave street walkers alone, there are to many risks involved. It may be pricier but go to an established W.G or parlour.

She's hardly going to be an undercover cop if she made the initial approach, that is termed entrapment and is illegal.

Entrapment is defined in the USA, in the UK it is much more vague, many UK undercover operations would be thrown out of court if entrapment was illegal here.

If the "girl" is undercover and makes the first approach (of paying for sex) then you couldn't be done for soliciting unless, possibly, your behaviour made it clear that you were looking for an offer. However, this would rely on the evidence held by the police.

It wouldn't be classed as hearsay as both parties would be present in court. Hearsay is when the person who is supposed to have spoken the words is not present. The only time hearsay is allowed as evidence is a dying man's statement.

You'll not get done for picking a girl up unless you are really stupid. nearly all street girls are on drugs, due to this they generally look like walking skeletons and have and wild eyed with desperation to get a hit. You are not going to mistake a healthy, non-drug taking undercover wpc as a street girl as she'd stand out a mile.

Again the street girls are dangerous, you can be arrested if you solicit them, most will be carrying interesting diseases and the main reason is the girls don't want to be doing the job, it is to fund a habit only.

I think that the street girls are getting a bit of an unfair press. Sure some of them are addicts and some are a bit skanky but not all of them are but those that are are perhaps more deserving of our sympathy than not. In any case if you're sticking to protected sex then I can't see that it's such a great to do. I have to admit that I've never been with a street girl, mainly because the only time I've seen any I wasn't in position to stop and ask for directions. I used to see one in Sheffield in a commercial area as I drove past and she looked so desperate I felt like stopping and just giving her a tenner to go and get a cup of tea but I suppose it would have just gone on drugs which would still have been a result Reviewom her point of view.
