Asian style karaoke club at down town

Anyone been there before? Truely asian style karaoke club. Young asian chicks there, korean, japanese, chinese... Lots of them still in college. I've been there once at Bloor & Bathurst. Just GFE, like hugs, kisses, serve you for food & drink, sitting on your lap all night long. You can take her out for extra .....

If you must know, there was an ad in I think Now magazine a while back.
It was very vague and I had no clue what to expect.
I had never been to a karaoke bar like that before, nor have I been to one since.

Ditto! I've been to most of the korean karaokes on bloor near bathurst and have never experienced or remotely seen anything that resembles what you are talking about.

It's on the second floor above a restaurant. If so... i've never seen any girls working there.

Hi leery, I think we are talking on the same one. It's on the second floor of 708 Bloor St W. The place is not that clean and not that new. There are only 2 karaoke room, one for 5-6 ppl, another big room for 10 ppl. You need to call them first to see if any girls working there before you go there and any room available or tell them when you are going there so that they can arrange some girls for you. Unfortunately, I forgot their phone # & name. If anyone have it, please post it here, I want to go there again w/ my friends.

Don't expect too high, just GFE. If you want more extra, you have to ask the girl and see, if she is ok, take her out.

Usually tips for girl(no extra) around $25-30 per hour. Drinks & foods extra.

Last time me and a bunch of my friends there around 2 mths ago. I had a chinese girl who is 19yrs old and still in college. We stayed there for 3 hrs, $80 tips for my girl.

Anyone going there for the team?

don't really wanna get into the arguement about paying for companionship etc etc so anyway, some info about this place:

I went there about 3 times within the last yr or so.
It was mostly Chinese girls working there with a few japanese ones, most are btw 19-25yrs old, some r gd looking. Most of them are FOB who whose 1st language are either Mandarin or Japanese.
Surprisingly no Korean girls eventho it's located in k-town. i think it's becoz the koreans girls don't wanna bump into someone they know.

They basically don't charge any roomfee or hourly fee so they charge u for the alcohol which is priced just slightly less than in stripclubs but of coz above normal bar price. so i guess a Coors light for example would cost about 5 bucks. I remember last time I went with 2 friends and the bill was only about $180 and we had quite a lot to drink. Gotta tip the girls tho and i guess $40-60 for each girl would be enough. So that's the total cost, nothing more.

However when it comes to "mileage" I believe this place offers NOTHING.
It's basically just someone to sing, flirt and play drinking games with, hugs and kisses on the cheek...
so yea don't bother going unless u were planning only to get drunk and have a gd time anyway.
Takeout didn't really look like a possibility from what i observed.
I did get a few numbers from some of the girls and went out with one of them once but nothin really came of it so i'm not gonna bother with a second date.

There used to be a similar karaoke place in ChinaTown, Dundas and Spadina(south of Dundas on the east side of Spadina), it's located in the basement of a building that's right next to a Chinese grocery/supermarket. They don't have as many girls to choose from and most are from China but had a few CBCs and Koreans too. But they charged much more than the Korean Town one for basically the same thing. Now they changed it to a much more exclusive karaoke club run by Koreans, they wouldn't let me in when i knocked. U can spot the small neon sign that says "gentlemen's club" from outside.

If u are looking for some mileage and the possibilty for takeout then the only place i know is "CANTON" which is on Shepperd and i think McCowan(on the north side of Sheppard just east of McCowan I think, not 100% sure) in the same mall as the Tim Horton's.
But it's really YMMV there. I've seen girls in that place who who won't even let the customer touch her waist or thigh but some were v liberal and even offered takeout for free, believe it or not.

I heard of a couple of places like this in Toronto, but i think they're generally rare.

A friend who worked at a Karaoke club mentioned that there is on up on 16th Ave and Leslie... but I don't know anything about it.

Anyone have more info on these hostess places?

newbie here, but i happened to know that there was one at steeles and victoria park area, something 338 club or something like that, then on yonge near to steeles i think there is a korean karoake with girls, mind u i just happen to pass by and never gone inside so i don't really know .

i think a lot of karaoke places has the "potential" for providing these types of services. I've heard of several karaokes which offer them (especially if you call ahead and request them)

Club Canton (markham / sheppard) has them on duty pretty much 24/7... Tunnel (Highway 7/commerce gate) etc...

But in most cases, they tend to be over priced and under-deliver. I really wouldn't recommend it. This XO place (and it does sound like it although the XO i remember had more than 2 rooms) seems to be cheaper than most.

I experienced one of these places while I was visiting the Philippines a few years back. The scene, as a whole, was new to me. I really didn't know what to expect from these beautiful ladies that came over and joined my brother and me (one girl for him, one for me)

They sang, I sang one song. I think it was Steppenwolf's Born To Be Wild (had to inject some Canadiana). It was an enjoyable night. Nothing too sordid happened with the exception of us having our arms around each other, legs, knees, thighs etc. and a big hug and kiss at the end of the night.

and oh yeah, didn't cost us a thing. Our cousins took care of all the financial details for us. Lucky me.
