Bar Bisas????????

Last night one of our esteemed angels of the Del Rey told me about this bar where all the angels go. It sounded like Bisas or Visas and was within 4 blocks of the HDR. It could be a Lesbo bar but I am always looking for something different.
Anyone know where it is?

Have never heard of it but hopefully someone has and will post the info. Would not mind stopping in some night :

Just a wild guess, but they could be referring to "La Avispa" - which is indeed a gay dance club located about five blocks south and four blocks west of the Del Rey. It's shown on my map.

This is actually a pretty cool place to hang out - with the appropriate company of course. It's a big, glitzy disco-like place - and the patrons are very tolerant of moonlighting straights. We've partied there in the past with Sportsmen's bartenders and I've taken dates there on my own, and always had fun.

Not a bad alternative if you'd like to check out something different.

If I am not mistaken it on the same road heading toward the DR as Idem is on. Again, I could be mistaken. I have been there a few times partying with straight ppl and was a good time. Its not like I ever felt intimidated or threatened. I was to my knowings, the only gringo in there. Lots of HLA (hot lesbian action) to be seen. I'll go back... I dont remember the name but what was mentioned sounded close. We went to an after hours club later... (read that past 6am) It was a same sex shopping fest too... I did get compelmented on my outfit though.... :roll:

According to GR's map La Avispa is on Calle 1 but I have seen the place on Calle 11 you are talking about DTA, I think it's near the corner of Ave. 6 or 2. There's loud music and lots of neon, it looks like a lively place. A taxi driver pointed it out one night coming from Idem and said it's a gay bar but many hot chicas do hang out there, didn't catch the name of it.
