Bella Spa--something strange going on

I was out late last night in the east end, but it was too late to check out the B girls.

Cruised up Eglinton and made it to the Danforth. I had read a few good reviews of Bella at Danforth and Coxwell. Decided to find this place.

Drove right by it and decided to turn around and go back east to try to find it again. Noticed it and decided to find the best place to make a U-turn....oh..yes my old hang out Cheers is around here somewhere...think I will check it out for a drink..As I am going east of Coxwell I noticed a cop car go by......hmmmm....oh look....there's Cheers....drop by and have a drink...chat with the locals...another drink... and I am ready for a massage...

Drive back to Bella....pair of cops are just going in as I pull up....
Call the number...girl answers and I can hear the cops in the back ground...girl hangs up.....

I am curious...so I park and saunter over to the phone booth to check out the situation and do a little research.....go by the door...I can hear the cops talking...not much else....

Check out the back door.....no one trying to make a break for it...
but some guy gets out of the spa, goes to his car and goes back into the spa.....interesting...

So I hang around....go to the African Sports Bar and wait....one hour later......the cops emerge and drive away.... No bust...

So what the hell were they doing there for an hour???

Any input?

You know the guy who went to his car and went back to the spa, I think he was getting his I.D. And the cops probably had a massage and were checking for mileage and obviously got zilch.

I initially thought that was the case but the cops stayed there for a good hour after that with the cop car parked right out in front.

Shortly after that the girl changed the sign on the front door...

I really think that the cops were in there getting a massage...

I was tempted to walk into the mp when they were in there just to see what was up, but decided not to tempt fate..

When I was there sometime last month I noticed upon my departure what appeared to be an unmarked police car on south side directly across from the spa. Guy inside with interior light on. I'd like to know what is going on too. I have generally found an improvement with talent and they have added new rooms in the basement. May be that it is becoming popular and busy. It is also set amongst a bunch of bars and locals may be getting uptight.

I live in the area and have seen marked and unmarked cars all the time. There was one occasion where the cops went in, and about an hour later, the girls were dressed and leaving the place. This was about 1:30 in the afternoon. By 7:00pm, the place was re-opened with different ladies

Am tempted to try this place out, but everytime I enter, the girls are pretty busy, not that attractive or cops are roaming about.

They were probably responding to a complaint, chatting up the girls, asked and were allowed to take a look around, looking for anything that may suggest illegal activity, used condoms, drugs, etc.
It happens frequently enough, usually by by-law enforcement officers first with unscheduled spot checks. If they see something suspicious, they inform the cops for a possible follow-up.


..........or maybe they were getting a massage.
