JACKSON TWP. − The Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa has opened its 20th franchise location in Ohio.
The new spa owned by area residents Miranda and Eric McKimm offers professional massages, such as Swedish and hot stone, at 4992-D Fulton Dr. NW near the Meijer store. They also provide facial skincare and hair removal treatments.
“After visiting a Hand & Stone location in Florida, we were genuinely impressed by the high-quality experience and services provided to us," Miranda McKimm said in a prepared statement. "Hand & Stone diligently cultivates a culture of excellence for both its team and clientele, delivering exceptional services that don’t break the bank."

Timken acquires Lagersmit
The Timken Co. announced Thursday that it acquired Lagersmit, a Netherlands-based manufacturer of engineered sealing products.
"Lagersmit adds engineered sealing products to our portfolio and strengthens our presence in the attractive marine market," Christopher Coughlin, Timken's executive vice president and president of Industrial Motion, said in a prepared statement. "The business serves leading propulsion manufacturers, ship owners, pump makers and other industrial customers around the globe that require advanced sealing systems."
Lagersmit was founded in 1856. The company employs about 90 people and is expected to generate about $40 million in revenue this year.
Timken, a global manufacturer of bearings and industrial motion products, used cash on hand and its revolving credit facility to fund the acquisition. Detailed terms of the transaction were not released.
Hall of Fame Village partners with Enviroscapes
The Hall of Fame Village has named Enviroscapes as its preferred landscaping and snow removal provider. The Louisville-area company is also now the presenting partner of the Touchdown Tube Hill.
"Enviroscapes is excited to continue our partnership with Hall of Fame Village," Founder Todd Pugh said in a prepared statement. "Not only have we been involved from the start, but we look forward to the continued relationship. It is exciting to align with a local company that shares similar core values and is dedicated to improving the community by offering world-class experiences."
Vic Gregovits, executive vice president of global sales, also praised the partnership, additional terms of which were not released.
"We are excited for the positive influence this collaboration will bring, enriching the overall experience for everyone in the Hall of Fame Village community," he said.
Grand opening for The Good Feet Store
The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its first ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new year at The Good Feet Store, 4131 Belden Village Mall Circle NW, Suite B52.
The grand opening event will be at 10 a.m. on Jan. 13, according to a news release from the chamber.
The Good Feet Store offers arch supports and personalized fittings by walk-in or appointment. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
