Hey guys:

Finally arrived in San Jose--armed with information ammunition (at least that's what I want to think). I forgot to bring my camera with me--I have a really nice digital SLR that I bought recently.

Do you guys know if there is anyplace in town that I can buy a simple digital camera for less than $75? It really sucks not having a camera.

I bet you'd find a lot of used cameras for sale, some already loaded with pics.

Go buy one of those kodak throw away cameras. They work great, I used them for years.

Lot of compre y vendes en Barrio Mexico. Basically Compre y Vende is a Pawn Shop type negotiation store. The freaking prices were through the roof for old ass digitals from 3 years back. I tried to get one for a local friend of mine. I came back to the states and found an old model Sony for $50.00 in one of the pawn shops here in Houston.

Their prices were outrageous for old used digital cameras! Nothing under $80.00 worth buying. Lots of shops though.

Dont go alone!

Did not even think about looking for a new one in CR.
