in my opinion, in general, stay away from strip clubs in CR.

too many other options, and often they are clip joints.

do a 'search' (at the top of the page), you won't find too many good things about it.

it's been opening and going out of business for a long time, even though the location seems to be ideal.


and for goodness sake, don't ever, ever run a tab at any of them.

I went in there years ago and immediately left. It was a Saturday night but the talent was very poor -- exceptionally homely, overweight and untalented. They say "white men" can't dance, in this case, the most uncoordinated Gringo I have ever seen could dance better than those Latinas.

Ydogi I'd recommend Pantera Rosa (try a search) might be worth a visit, five minutes by taxi, pay as you go and don't be afraid to say no. :wink:

I believe Centerfolds has been closed for quite a while, if I am thinking of the place on Avenida 1 about 2 blocks from the Rey. There are a few reasonably honest clubs in San Jose, and a lot of places that are outright clip joints. This has been gone over many many times before. I would avoid them if you are new to San Jose unless you run into a veteran who is willing to play wingman.

its been almost 2 years since centerfolds was open.....we went in one night and there were maybe 10 girls ,,,,all very hot and as my luck would have it....the guy who was the manager or owner his girl was the one I spent most of my time with ,,,very hot and sweet....then the guy sits with us and says ....chilimike you have good taste ,,,thats my girl !!! we sat around and shot the shit with him....same story a gringo with money who thinks he can make money in the pu*sy bussiness ....they all seem to have same M.O.... about 50, has a hot girlfriend, talks a big game ....then the doors close 2 months later ...
