Clarita's Hotel

I kind of jumped the gun and booked a trip to Jaco. Looked at several websites and saw Clarita's Hotel and booked it. Wanted to know if anyone has been there and what can you tell me about the place.

If you do a search on the website you should find a pretty good amount of info on Clarita's. I've never stayed there but I understand that the rooms are "basic", but nice and clean. I have been to their bar several times and I really like it. It's open air, right on the beach. In fact, I'm looking forward to hanging out there from Sept. 2-4. When are you going to be out in Jaco?

I've stayed there. Not the best place, but not bad either. Great deal for the price considering it's right on the beach. Pretty nice bar.

I stay there everytime I go to Jaco. Right on the beach, maybe a 10 minute walk into town or a $2 cab ride. Cool sports bar with tv's, darts, pool table, decent food & cold beer. Chica friendly and a reasonable price. You'll love it there.

Ok, how to say this delicately, because I do have people I like that go there... Kind of depressing to me... Mostly older, regular drinkers.... Most non working chicas know it as a place with a lot of dirty old men who say stupid shit and try to pick them up..... I hear the hotel is adequate, nothing special but not bad....

Claritas is OK.

A better choice for low priced and chica friendly accommodations in Jaco is Villas Estrellemar in Central Jaco. The place is very nice, rooms are clean, and the rate includes breakfast. Nice pool and a Tiki Bar/Restaurant on site.

100% Chica friendly and walking distance from the Beatle Bar, Jungle Bar, and a 1/2 block off the Main St in Jaco. It's a prime location for sure.

The GM there, Johnny Vargas, is a great guy, very friendly and will go out of his way to help you with anything.

Didn't know they were chica friendly Hooked. I guess I just assumed knowing the couple who are the owners.. Good to know. I like them so will try to send some guys their way.

What a small world. I know the owners as well from both here and Florida. Johnny manages the place for Tom, and he really is a great person. You should stop in and introduce yourself to him sometime as he is a great contact to have.

I have referred a lot of people there that were looking for nice, safe, cheap, chica friendly locations and everyone has come back to me very pleased.

They also have a nice transfer van and do airport pick ups and drop offs at a very reasonable rate.

Yeah, Tom's ok except for that Tennessee mess... Just kidding.... We are all SEC guys and rib each other alot during football season. Yep, it is a small world.

I took my favorita to claritas last week for a few days,we had a blast.rooms are clean,good ac, food at the bar was great.The only thing that I noticed was the walls are paper thin,of course we were making the noise, not listening to others so no problem.We paid 60 a night inc tax.
