On Thursday, Miami-Dade police officers made an arrest as a result of an undercover operation based on information obtained about illegal services being provided at a Cutler Bay spa called New Asian Massage.
The parlor, located at 19770 S. Dixie Highway, was used for prostitution, authorities said.
The tip-off prompted police to send an undercover investigator to the center, who requested a massage for $50.
According to the arrest report, a woman identified as Dairong Liang, 59, was found inside this location.
Ten minutes into the procedure, Liang began removing the detective's underwear and told him to "turn around," the report said.
He then began to "massage" the officer's genitals, police said.
So he asked her, “Is that extra?” and the employee told him it would cost another $50.
Liang's behavior prompted the investigator to signal for officers to come in and arrest her.
According to the report in question, “a representative from the Florida Department of Health responded to the scene and determined that Ms. Liang does not have a valid health care license to provide massage services.”
Liang, a Chinese national, was arrested on a felony charge of providing medical care without a required license and misdemeanor charges of performing unlicensed massages and prostitution.
She remains in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and was set on $3,150 bail.
Additionally, state business records show a person named Ziyun Liang as an agent for a business also called New Asian Massage on Southwest 117th Avenue, but it has not yet been determined whether there are any ties to the Cutler Bay establishment or Dairong Liang.
