Diamond Health Center closed

Tried calling DHC in Garland yesterday, with no answer. Took a drive by and the open sign is off and there is a red "notice" sticker on the front door. Looks like our government is protecting us from ourselves again.

This was coming. I stopped in the parking lot in front of the place one time for another reason- to answer a call on my cell phone. Seriously. It was about 8pm and dark outside. While I spoke on the phone, in a parking spot with my car running, not too far from the entrance to DHC, I had no fewer than three guys either walk by or drive by and scope out my car. Also, there was constantly at least one car or truck parked nearby, facing the entrance (I was facing away from the entrance probably 75 feet away in the parking lot) and conspicuously watching the entrance.

If I had to guess, there was probably a lot of attention from people who lived nearby and wanted the place closed.

The word is that they were doing business without a license.

This is too bad. I've been there a couple times and was looking for some more repeat visits. Each time I had a lot of fun.

The place isn't exactly off the beaten path. It's right in the middle of a bunch of stores, restaurants and fast-food joints. So if someone wanted to keep an eye on them (as Squeegie said) it sure wouldn't be hard to do.

Thank you for posting this. You saved me a wasted trip over there earlier today.

This is too bad because it was nice to have a full service AMP closer to where I live. If anyone finds out where they open next (assuming that they do) please let us know.

Also, if anyone knows of any other decent AMPS East of Dallas please let me know. The only other one I have been to is the one at Broadway and I-30. It's L1 only as far as I can tell.
