Started off at HOL1 - great food, I have to admit. Try the ribs - fantastic. Couldn't get a dance with the dancers I wanted - they were too busy or sitting talking with people.(typical of one of them). Decided to cut my losses and head up to HFH - try my luck at a walk in appointment with Tarah. Had no luck - got there at 9:30 and all the girls were booked. This left me very upset. I didn't know what to do. I thought - I better find a doctor to tell my troubles to. So I drove down to Finch - found an open doctor's office at 10:00 around Keele/Finch - no doctor however, so I just had to deal with the nurse. Now I could see what the government cutbacks to health services were doing, as this nurse's uniform barely covered her nice sweet bottom. We've got to petition the government to give them more money. The nurse, whose name turned out to be Michelle, took me an examining room. I have to admit, even with the government cutbacks, this walkin clinic was very clean and sterile. I especially loved the white fluffy towels. (I was told they could afford these through private donations.) The nurse diagnosed my problem fairly quickly and felt that a massage might cure what ails me. She instructed me to lie down (who am I to argue with a healthcare professional). The massage was not bad - more than just a light rub. But this still didn't cure my problems. Upon further diagnosis, it was determined that Extra therapy was needed. Luckily, she was able to service me in that appointment.
My guess is that this walkin clinic specializes in alternative medicene. Normally, I'm not a believer in this, however, on this occassion, it was able to release the inner demons which plagued me at this time. As I said though, I was dismayed by the government cutbacks (aka the uniforms) and felt that I should leave a donation to help out. OHIP can only cover so much. Its time that we as a community step up to help out this industry. For those of you suffering from symptons such as increased swelling, strains, or delirium, I highly recommend this clinic and their alternative treatment plan.
