There are no genders. Gender is not binary. Gender is fluid.
So, applying that to the Domestic violence threat that all men face - in terms of being arrested and charged with domestic assault based upon the mere fact that we are male and our spouses are female, our new strategy should be to correct police officers who attempt to assign gender specifics during their investigation of any particular domestic dispute we are involved in.
I came up with this strategy after reading this article:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/26/three-sought-60-year-old-woman-beaten-transgender-row/
The police in England refuse to identify the guys that assaulted the elderly woman because those men don't identify as men. They are gender fluid.
THIS IS GOLD. THINK OF HOW WE, AS MEN, CAN ADAPT THIS TO OTHER SITUATIONS INVOLVING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACCUSATIONS.
If your wife or SO calls the police and claims domestic assault, when the police arrive and ask if you are the husband or if they talk to you as if you are the male of the house, correct them and tell them you identify as either female, gender fluid or non-binary. Tell the female officer that you feel more comfortable speaking to her as opposed to the male officer that would normally be assigned to you. If the female officer refuses, ask that another female officer be assigned to the investigation and delay the investigation as long as possible until you get the representation - from your local police department - that you feel fits your gender identity.
Your goal is to put the police on the defensive and delay as much as possible. The more you do this, the balance of power and a favourable outcome is much more likely to come your way. The more time you buy, the more confusion you create, the more you gain control of the situation. The longer the dispute goes on, the less chance you have of being the losing party in that dispute. That is why lawyers try to delay, delay, delay in court cases. It gives them leverage when things are eventually negotiated. Use the same tactic with gender fluidity.
I will use this the next time my wife calls the police on me. This really is a ground-breaking development.
Regards folks.
