Taylor & Kelly Interiors celebrates transition to Kelly Collective Interiors
I believe it was a '90s song that declared “every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end,” and it rang true in my mind when I spoke with interior designer Amy Kelly of Taylor & Kelly Interiors this week.
For more than eight years, Kelly worked alongside friend and mentor Janet Taylor. From there, Kelly worked her way up from design assistant to business partner.
“Janet would tell me to get ready,” Kelly said. “’This is my last job. You need to get ready when I decide to wind down.’”
That time has come, and the transition to Kelly Collective Interiors will be made official with a ribbon cutting celebration at Oasis Rugs & Pearl Home, located at 12555 Emerald Coast Parkway, Suite D, in Miramar Beach on Nov. 7 at 4 p.m.
“I am thrilled to be launching my own design studio,” Kelly said. “Timing has been perfect and everything is falling right into place. Having my own space will allow endless possibilities.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a meet and greet afterwards until 6 p.m.
“This will be great opportunity for design, construction and real estate professionals to mingle, grab a drink, bite to eat, explore local talent, and learn about my interior design business,” Kelly said.
Kelly’s studio space is anticipating a spring 2019 opening.
“Design plays a big role in everyday life,” Kelly said. “Your home reflects who you are and investing in your home is an extension of investing in yourself.”
