Newbie here,just wondering what the etiquette guidelines are in dealing with MPA's. Any advice would be helpful.

The original question doesn't seem all that dumb to me and surely didn't make me consider giving sarcastic answers. What exactly is this board for if not to pass on information and answer questions that people may have. Given that this was scuzzee's first post and assuming that he's new, it's a perfectly natural question to ask. Instead of making sarcastic remarks and name calling, why don't you do something useful and give the guy an honest answer.

I agree with you Waterman. Newer members should be welcomed and, when necessary, advised, but not crapped on.

As a long time visitor, but fairly new contributor, I try to be very careful in what I say and how I say it. I don't want to upset anyone's applecart.

As you pointed out, Waterman, newer members can very well have worthwhile information to share.

I agree with the group that believes newbies should be helped in a better way rather than sarcastic remarks that always get passed. If anything, it only shows your arrogance and total disrespect for fellow members, specially the new ones.

That alone defeats the prurpose of this board.

Well, if you are Sr. Member and think that some newbie asked a dumb question, just close the post and carry on, why should you bother being sarcastic. Your wasintg your own time as well as others'.

The fact that he is new means he doesn't quite know "search" and all that.... besides it's hard to find exact answer to your question by search.

To mmm61318: That was a hysterical freudian slip in your last message.

To newbies: You will always hear the "treat them with respect" mantra, but that's bad advice in the absence of an even better mantra " treat yourself with respect". If you do that, you will get good service, refuse to accept bad service and the respect you give them will be more meaningful.

Here are some tips based on my own experiences:

1. If the girl who answers the door doesn't strike your fancy, ask to see the other attendants. If that's not allowed, make an excuse and leave. Most places will let you choose.
2. Know what you want each time you go (quality massage, extensive "extra" options, top notch eye-candy, specific services (back door manipulation), etc. ). Use massageplanet.net to find out (by searches, not questions) where you can reliably get what you want.
3. Unless money is no object, or you're certain that you want extras, beware of places that have extensive menus. The women there will resent you choosing a cheap alternative and will give you lacklustre service if you do. The women make very little money from the door fee.
4. Avoid places whose FS reputation is discussed indiscretely on the Boards. Why risk being a "found in" in a raid when there are so many good MPs out there?
5. If you find good service - repeat. Most good providers only get better as you become a regular.
6. Only tip if the service is exceptional (or if you want to establish a "regular" relationship on a good note). Prices will creep up quickly enough without your help.
7. If the MP is busy to the point of a line-up, don't wait. The guys in front of you will be rushed and so will you.
8. Gently approach any touching/kissing/activities that you're not sure are allowed. Either ask first, or approach them slowly, giving the girl a chance to say "no" before you're already "there".
9. The "going" rates for massage are: $40 for 1/2, $60 for 45mins, $80 for 1 hr. + 40/60/80/100 for T/N/NR/BS "extras", although prices certainly vary.
10. Poor hygiene on your part will lead to poor service from the MPA.
11. Don't ask alot of personal questions (age, how long in Canada, where worked before, etc). Many MPA's fear Immigration and/or Police. Don't give them a reason to think you're a cop/fed.
12. It's ok to ask an MPA to slow down if she's trying to set a world record in finishing you off (unless that's what you want). You did pay for the time.

There is, of course, a lot more that could be said, but this advice and that of others should get you off to a good start (pun intended)!

After a little bit of a war to start the thread, it actually developed into a very good read.

The other note that I would add is:

If you are going to hit one of the apartment type MP's from a newspaper ad beware. Just review the thread on worst MP experiences to find out how many occured in places like this.

To find out who to see, do a search of the MP or MPA on massageplanet.net.
