Anyone know of a course that trains in aromatherapy facials, i am a aromatherapist but the facial side of the therapy was not really included im my ITEC training. Would like to be able to recognise skin conditions/types andhave more indepthknowledge on treating the face.

re the above about MSCM that is a good course as it covers cleansing exfoliating etc and then japanese facial massage

or there is complementary therapises in gerrards cross which have 2 day courses by Anne Parry for aromatherapy facials and japanese facial massage (she is the originator of JFM) -

whichever course you choose you will have fun

Hi I don't know if this helps but I have just done a Certificate in Holistic Facials using oils and it was fantastic. It was at the Preston Therapy Centre (£75) and then you can do the VTCT Dip (£120) as another module.

Hi, Do you need to be qualified aromatherapist to do the Holistic facial at The Preston Therapy centre? or can you just do the the diploma course?

Sorry about the delay in posting - problem with email. No you don't have to be qualified in Aromatherapy to do this course, I am not aromatherapy qualified. I did the Certificate first but then struggled to get insurance with the FHT so I am now doing the VTCT Qualification and this will give me the insurance that I need. I am doing a home study course so I have all the time in the world to study (10 Hours hands on minimum) and then do the practical at Preston.
