first time at a massage parlour

I've never tried a massage parlour before but i'm planning to visit one soon. However, I don't really understand their rates. For exp, I read the Royal Spa rates at http://www.royalspa.ca/rates.php if I chose nude massage for 30 min, will I end up paying $100 or does the girl expect additional tips? Thanks.

You guys in Toronto have it easy with most MP's posting services and tips right on their web sites. Most places here in Ottawa don't even advertise they take tips and when you call to find out if they do, the answer is "we are strickly massage" eventhough they have all been reviewed on massageplanet.net. I went to an MP a while back and when I asked her to take off her top after the flip, she answered "that'll be another $100". Here you should pay $100-$120 total for a topless HJ. Most will let you touch them but you have to ask nicely. Bodyslides and company in the shower, unheard of here except for Jasmines and Trish.

It is illegal in Toronto to post prices of extras on their websites. Therefore we go through the exact same thing as you do. SRM is in Brampton and the laws there are different.

Here is a quick guide to posted and unadvertised prices (this is only a guideline):

ROOM RATES:

Usual going rate for 30 minutes is $40 with a std deviation of +/- $10. That means that you may pay from $30 to $50.

Additional time of 10 to 30 minutes means that you could be paying:

10 min extra - $40 to $50
15 min extra - $45 to $60
30 min extra - $60 to $80

EXTRAS (based on a 30 minute session, recommended to pay):

$20 to $40 for Topless (T)
$40 to $60 for Nude (N)
$60 to $80 for Nude Reverse (NR) - you massage her
$80 to $100 for a Bodyslide (BS) - she slides her body all over you

Prices for extras over a 30 minute session will vary, it is up to you to haggle for rates that are not listed on a website.

Remember this is just a guideline and prices should fall within the guideline.

1) The rates are almost always posted, or easy to request from reception - at least at SRM, HFH, Platinum, etc. (no-name Asian places are all over the map)

2) A lot of guys tip on top of whatever the posted rate is - I think a poll once said half do. Me, I never do - I figure the tip is the tip, and the fact that I come back and post good things is the reason for doing a decent job. That, and what a great guy I am.

One more bit of advice - just take the bodyslide. I fucked around for a while when I started with nude, nude reverse, etc., but there's really no way to tell if you're going to like a girl unless you're "sliding". You're better off starting with 30 minutes and the bodyslide than longer with less. SRM is great for newbies - the 40 minute special is $50 at the door and $100 to the girl.

One more bit of advice - read reviews and book ahead. I do walk-ins sometimes now, but half the time it's still an assfuck (in a bad way), even at good spas.

Oh yeah, one more piece of advice - the shower massages and hot tub massages are pretty much a waste of time, as far as I can tell. If a girl's going to be extra attentive and/or offer add'l mileage, it'll happen in the bodyslide.

The hot tub thing to me always seemed esp. disgusting, but maybe that's just me.

I don't know, it's a long story, and there are lots of threads.

I'm scared to use an SP, but I probably will someday. I had one really bad incall MPA experience, and that was my only incall experience at all, so that probably set me back more on seeing SPs.

MPAs are very easy for me to schedule and visit, and that probably helps.

My sense is that on balance MPAs are prettier and less jaded, but I have very little data to support that.

Lastly - the shit's still working for me. So I'm going to continue.

That is a great point. I think with MP's you have anonymity. With SP's you either have to rent a hotel or do it at home and a lot of guys don't want their information in a "black book" or client list that an agency has. I remember a couple years back a top MP in Woodbridge was asking their clients to provide identification to be written in a book (some bylaw) and that was enough to stop me from going there.

First, i think the bylaws require certain spas to get identification, but i am not sure if they are required to verify its authenticity. I've always just read them my DL info, it could be off by a number or two.

Second, if you get caught off guard, why cant you just transpose a couple numbers on your address, or just pick a major street like Eglinton? I mean, its not like the spa patrol goes by and checks up on it.
