First Visit in April

Hey Guys

I am over to do a spot of fishing in late April/May with a friend. We only have a couple of nights in SJ so we need to be efficient on the tica front. I have read alot of entries on this site and well .... where do we start. There seems to be so much that we will be blinded by the lights! Any suggestions as to where to start. We still havent booked a hotel and we are not on a budget. Where do we get the ticas from and what is the best hotel to stay in?

I know how blinding this board can be as Jeez there is a ton of info to consume. Good news is you have plenty of time to review all the different things that go on there. Get an Idea of the best hotels, read some restaurant reviews etc.. and with only two days before fishing, Staying close to Ground Zero would be my suggestion.

Hotel Presidente is my choice of course, but there are many others in the area that are fine establishments. That are very close and all very good.

For a 48 hour hit try the established Massage Parlors and of course the Key Largo and DEL REY.

Is the hotel user freindly? I notice on their website that they have a two room suite with jacuzzi. Would this be a good place for me and my mate to party for a couple of days?

Regarding the ticas, do they travel? We are going to a remote part of the country for 5 days fishing and I think that the evening will be a bit short of action so we thought that maybe we could take a couple of ticas along for the ride so to speak.
