Gettysburg

Thanks for the suggestions about the battlefield. Been to the area several times, was looking for some relaxation. Used to go to a place called Shear Joy on Rt 30 west of Gettysburg but last time I looked they were gone.

I live an hour from Gettysburg. Forget about the BBBJ. Go see the battlefield, then walk through Soldier's National Cemetery and stand in front of the monument that marks the spot where Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address.

I try to get down there every six months or so just to remind myself of the importance of that place in our country's history.

I have been out that way a few times and tried to find someone but that area seems to be a bit sparse.

You may have to bring someone with you if you are looking for some fun

You'd be really missing something if you go there and don't see the battlefield. Incredibly moving site.

Taking a trip to Maryland just south of Gettysburg. Anyone have any suggestions? Searches on the site came back empty. Does not have to be an AMP but a BBBJ would be ideal.
