We all know that with the prevalence of a variety of STDs out there, not counting every other ailment and accident known to mankind, that perhaps we, as hobbyists or providers, might be statistically more inclined to require health care services within our communities.
Instead of bitching about it, this Monday, October 23rd, all of us have the possibility of taking a stand and voting in members of the Regional Health Boards.
Having done my research on the issues, just as I do before heading out for a massage, I think that hobbyists should throw their support behind any of these candidates, depending where on the island you live --
CHUM = Florence Junca-Adenot
MUHC = Theresa Tkalec
St.Marys = Conrad Sauve
Lakeshore = Stephen Pickford
Of course, if Andre Boisclair should make it a part of his platform that weekly massage treatments will be covered by the RAMQ (or at least partially, with a deductible, as with prescription drugs), he would gain the vote of this ardent Federalist without hesitation.
