Help, IHM adapting the treatment

Visited the site many times but never posted aquestion before but im stumped, so any help would be appreciated.
Case study client has ME and I'm a little unsure how to adapt treatment and what aftercare advice to offer. My client has no nausea, joint or lymph node pain. Has anyone got any ideas ?

I have an IHM client with ME, and the biggest thing for me to watch for is the length of the treatment - she cannot cope with too long a treatment, so I do a 15-20 minute IHM, focussing on the neck, head and face. (my full treatment is about 45 mins).

For aftercare, focus on diet and fluid intake, and DO NOT recommend exercise - also do not recommend a (for example) weekly treatment - a fortnightly one would be more than sufficient. It may also be appropriate to recommend other treatments available in teh area - for example a local kinesiologist has had some good results finding out what triggers the symptoms in a friend of mine.

I would also say - all ME sufferers are different and have different symptoms and levels of fatigue. If in doubt - ask your client how she feels, and make sure you find out at the next appointment how she was after the treatment.

Cheers Trow thanks for the advice, all I had come up with was avoid mental and physical exertion and use meditation for relaxation. ITEC seem pretty hot on personalised aftercare now but hopefully that should do it.
