I posted last month about less than expected experience at HLH, I was pleased with everything but the attitude and being played by the girls. Most replies indicated it was all my fault for being so dumb. I guess that's true, I did read and study the boards for some time before I went but found nothing to prepare me for what I encountered. I regret that so many loyal HLH lovers were offended by my reporting what happened and trying to help others avoid a similar experience, I actually thought that was what this board was for. I have been researching other possible mongering destinations and found one that looks promising. Here is an excerpt from info they sent me:

To become an approved Blackbeards companion, all of the girls are thoroughly interviewed and must provide government approved medical certificates and agree to follow all the house rules that include, but are not limited to:
Proper attire and behavior
Monthly medical exams
Use their towels only
Not over charge customers
Not demand Tips
Not argue with other girls
Not charge any food or beverage, without customers approval
Not allowed to “Rush” customers or leave before agreed time

BlackBeards is a resort in the DR near POP. Many guys spend 3-4 days there then go to Sosua. It has very good reviews. I also think HLH and many of the other higher end MPs could take a few lessons from BlackBeards way of doing business. IMHO

I think the comparison by the OP of Blackbeards to HLH is a bit unfair. The DR is NOT CR for one and the culture is much different for two. The things that make BB's so unique would not necessarily work in the gulch. I can list several reasons but I'm convinced others can do a better job of it.

That's what I expected at HLH, silly me. I will try this place in 2013. may be more bullshit but it seems the only way to know for sure is to go. I would be interested in hearing if others have tried Blackbeards and what experience was. I'll keep reading, but will post no more. oh yea, a peso is 2 cents.

In CR, pimping is illegal. I think your proposed plan would land you in jail and your business closed.

I guess this is the reason that the owners of mp's in cr dont set or post prices? The girls set the prices for their services. The mp owners rent their rooms and set the prices for the room. We have had a pimp or two who were posting and setting prices on this board, but that my be hear say.

I think this DR post should be put in crt section for information around the world or maybe a DR web site. Apples and oranges

He hasn't proposed any plan, he's quoting from BB's rules for girls.

I've been to BB's twice & both times had a decent time. The only real issue with being there is that there's nothing much to do nearby. It salvaged my last trip because I found Sosua to be a bust. There's plenty of info on BB's in the Around the World section or go to insearchofchicas.org, it has its own section there.

PS: I agree with you, Bigal211, HLH is way overrated.

I have been going to HLH (Zona blue) for 9 years. The place has had more ups and downs than my C*ck on viagra. Sometimes, it has been off the chart amazing, other times, ordinary. THe problem with over-relying on one venue is just that- all have ups and downs in this game. Next time in CR, try the Sportsmans, DR, Molino Rojo and Arcadas, Le Grillon, Calle 6, the MPs off of Paseo Colone, and perhaps another venue or two.

Writing from LOS now, and have been to BJ bars, Nura massage, Soi 6 brothels, Go gos, several days in an Issan gentlemen's club/upscale brothel, beer bars, ect. If i were to say in one place the hole trip, it might have sucked (or been great, luck of the draw).

And perhaps you may learn a few things about how to deal with scamming chicas from the board. Even here in Thailand, I had to kick someone out before boom boom for playing games...it happens...

Just spoke with Jeff and on the hotel guest pricing, it is still $35 an hour all day every day. The early bird special ($40) is only for non-hotel guests with no extra discount off the $35 an hour for hotel guests before 1pm.

First lent me clarify how I think it works at HLH right now.

If you are a guest and CRT member any girl you choose is $37. You pay 10 at the front desk and 27 to the girl.

HLH rate structure effective Monday May 16th,

One Hour Guest fee $55or 27,500 colones
One Hour CRT VIP guest fee $49 or 24,500 colones
Half Hour Guest fee $37 or 18,500 colones.

I think Bigal211 the lesson to learn here is that in the mongering game there is no straight forward menu and pricing like at McDonalds. ALWAYS ask what the place is charging, always ASK the girl what she will charge for what you want and THEN decide it if it is OK for you. Do not be bashful. Once you have a feel for the kind of joint you are in and the type of girl you are dealing with then go ahead if you feel comfortable. Otherwise WALK there are plenty of girls who will take your money on your terms in CR, you do not need to compromise.
Remember a place you liked on your last visit could be terrible on your next visit, things change all the time in this business so keep your wits about you and enjoy yourself.

This can read rather confusing, especially for a new guy because at the mps it is a set price. The way it's written in what I quoted makes it seem like you pay the house then make a deal with the girl. Many people I have talked to in San Jose who are not big on the mp scene seem to think that's how it works and I believe it's what gets them into trouble with the pricing of things.

The price for "standard service" may be fixed by the house, but the propina that the chica wants to do what the monger wants is never fixed.

So it's best to ask ahead of time so there are no surprises in the room.......especially if the chica is an "unknown."

I see your point Seawub. Let me rephrase my advice here. Like RAC says:
At the MP or where ever you go ask what the price is. Then confirm with the girl if that is the price for sex and what that entails. Then find out if she will want more for anything special you want that she may not consider part of the MP price.
The point to get across is that you cannot assume anything the first time. Once you know what is considered "normal" for a place or girl then you are well on your way to having a fun time.

I meant to mention more like you put about the extras, but commented on that while I had a few seconds free at work. Yes a lot, hell pretty much all now want something extra for different things, but most of what I was trying to say was that if you were to walk into say HLH and they say its 40 for a hour you don't pay the 40 then ask the girl how much for sex. The bbbj, cim, anal, photos, atm, singing to you in German while you Phuck, or whatever other kinda crazy request you can think of will normally cost you extra (however in some cases it will not, depending on what the girl decides).
