If you look at this news bit, we find a number of interesting things.

1. When LE looks into massage parlours in BC, it is not to find who is offering a HJ. No, it is to find victims of pimps, girls who fell in some kind of slavery. HJ? They just don't care.

2. Only one massage parlour in Vancouver was visited. There are many in Vancouver but LE was not to check them all. They probably knew which ones were OK as to staff.

3. The ratio of staff to clients is 3 to 1. Statistics provided by LE from a fair number of parlours. 104 arrested, 26 clients, 78 staff. 3 to 1. For every girl with a client, twice as much were waiting for one. No wonder with that ratio that you often get to see the girls who are not busy at a massage table when you show up at an MP.

4. An interesting thing to know would be just what differentiated those visited from those who were not. Something that a smart client could notice? Or something going on behind the scene that is hidden even from smart clients? In BC, 26 clients are asking themselves why in the world they have been caught in such a place?

5. Another interesting thing would be to know if any charges were laid against the clients. Does somebody have relations at that far end of the country so we know the outcome? And what about the girls, too.
