How much do the services at Pantera Rosa cost? I was just quoted 150 an hour in the pink room and 60 for 20 minutes by a guy there? I thought it was 13,400 colones or something like that? How much is it to buy the girls drinks?

Last time we were there (Feb?), we were charged like 14,000 for the Panther Rooms. The real room (not Panther room) is over $100 for an hour. There really doesn't seem to be any no official price there for the rooms, the employees pretty much charge whatever the hell they want.
I would never pay more than $40 for the Panther room for 20 minutes. It's a little too uncomfortable.

They tried to charge you $150/hr in that telephone booth? Nobody can survive an hour in there. : Are you sure they didn't mean a regular room, downstairs or upstairs, wherever it is?

These price inconsistencies have been an ongoing problem there, just read some old posts. The only thing you can do is try to negotiate a better price or leave, if they won't budge. PR can be a lot of fun with the right girls and the right prices, but sometimes they make it tough to enjoy yourself by trying to "gringo-fuck" us.

Girl drinks are 4,000¢ (~$8.00).

I've never had the issue, as my VERY FIRST experience at PR was with a sweetheart that I currently still see, and I only see her now, although I have seen 2 or 3 others in the meantime, it's not worth it anymore. She charged me 13,500 for 20 min. That's all I ever have paid.

The barfine to take her out of there was EXHORBITANT, but I've paid it twice. Now I just tell her to take the night off, and she does... Makes more $ for her AND for me.

The rooms are $100 / hour / girl, they are nice rooms, upstairs and out. Not worth that price, but still, they are MUCH nicer than downstairs.

They quoted me a price ... I countered ... they accepted. You can negotiate there and probably get a good deal on the little Panther rooms if you've bought a few drinks and/or they recognize you.

I was quoted by the waiter 13,400 and then spoke to someone that said the rooms were 60-70 for 20 minutes and 150us , 1 hour for the room. He might have though I meant the upstairs rooms. I didn't know they had upstairs rooms. The 13,400 does includes sex in those booths correct? Do you have to bring your own condom?

Yes, the girls know what the deal is. Some will try the "it's dancing only" crap on unknowing gringos. I think the girls have their own condoms, but I always use my own in CR, for the piece of mind.
