Get up, walk away, and ignore the dog for a minute when she bites.

Dogs who were allowed to gnaw hands when they were young puppies end up with this problem.

Do not punish a dog by barricading it in a crate. The dog needs to see the crate as a joyous thing, not a place of punishment. Do not hit the dog except in life and death situations.

Ok one thing: Its spelled Shih Tzu. Second thing: Give her some toys while company is over. And if she bites you just a bit, scream, loudly. Then she'll get scared and realize that she's hurting you. And when she gets scared she won't want that(the scream) to happen again.

maybe you should hang up with the dog... play with her.. bring her on places with many people so that your dog will use to get along with other people... tell her not to bite then give her some food while saying this... just repeat it again and again...
try to buy a toy like a bone...

When you're dog bites, yell at her and lock her up in her cage. Leave her in there for ten minutes and totally ignore her which means no telling her to be quiet when she barks just act like shes not there. If you're dog doesn't learn by that, spank her but lightly and yell 'No'! If she walks away and ducks her head down, she won't do it fore a while but she will do it again. When you're dog is hyper, it is usual for you're dog to bite because she is crazy in the time. I hope this helps.

We have a Shi tzu and she bites a lot so we got a spray bottle and we fill it up with water, And when she bites just spray her. It also works for barking! Good luck!
