I Miss Paul...

Dear Fellow massageplanet.netites...

I really miss Paul. I can't understand why he would go away on vacation.

I used to PM him everyday telling him how my night was, if I had a good sleep, what I was planning to have for lunch that day...And he would respond every time.

The monday after the blackout I told him I was going to have an egg salad sandwich for lunch and he told me that I should reconsider, due to the black-out. I took his advice and had a burger instead. Later that day, I heard that someone got real sick from eating an egg salad sandwich.

I owe my life to Paul.

Next time he goes on vacation I plan on giving him one of them Palm Pilots that keep you connected 24 hours a day.

Paul, please come home soon....

It's obvious to me that Ref has made a connection with Paul. Is that so hard to believe ? After all, they are both humans and when humans interact on such a personal level it is inevitable that a "higher chemistry" level is reached once in a while. Having had the pleasure of "connecting" with The Paul myself, it's understandable how things can enter that grey zone. Fortunately I managed to pull back and gain some perspective before things became too heavy from my end, as I know he is betrothed to another fine human being and the bottom line is that this is a job to him. Not to mention, it felt more "real" ( from my perception ) before the vultures got hold of this hidden gem and reading about others "experiences" with him was distracting from that "special feeling" ...

I have to admit when he became hesitant to give out food advice, above and beyond what is normal, such as dietary supplements, it made me question the whole thing, but in the end it was a wake up call.

That doesn't mean I don't care about him. It's just my form of protection. Ultimately we crave that "grey area", which is why we are so willing to accept that we alone are special and unique.

Ref, I'm sure he will return safe and sound ( subjective ). The key here is that you have attained a level others seemingly have not and he is offering food advice outside the realm of the MP, where usually things turn on as soon as you pay admission and turn off upon exit, in most cases. When someone gives food advice and does not expect monitory gain in return, that is when you know it's 100% real ..

I was trying to let this go, as I didn't want to interfere, but ...

Admittedly, Beaver, I have not seen Paul in a while now, but it was partly his modesty and down to earth qualities that led me to appreciate the man. I don't think it's fair to place such a judgement on him. You do not know his motivations and / or his sincerity on this situation and neither do I for that matter, but am in no place to judge. I could make an educated guess based on my experience, but it would only be just that. I also find it very presumptuous of you to question the astute Ref's ability to judge the situation, especially given that he is obviously in a better vantage point than us.

In anticipation of what may come ; before anyone labels this as a gang bang, let it be known that I was the first to object and am only stating my own personal outlook.
