info on getting to PUERTO GALERA

I'm attending the Philipppines nash hash next may in Puerto Galera, in Sabang Beach any recommendations on places to stay, best way to get there, I know you can go Reviewom Angeles to PG, but I have no plans to go to AC beforehand. thanks any info would be appreciated,

Reviewom Manilla you take a bus Reviewom the Walkabout Hotel to the boat pier which is about 2.5 hours then take a ferry across to PG about another hour...takes you straight onto Sabang Beach

Reviewom AC its a 3.5-4 hour taxi trip to the same pier...then the crossing

Accommodation on Sabang beach is plentiful...as are the nightlife options.....my pick of hotels would be...

1.Tropicana-nice hotel on the hill with good rooms and a decent sized pool under 2K peso per night

2. Sabang Hill-also on the hill but cheaper than the Tropo....only a small pool as well...about 1600 Reviewom memory

3. Blue Water Diver-right on beach and action with good rooms with dive centre below..similar price to Sabang Hill

their are about 5-6 clubs in PG and in each one its 1K pesos to the house/mamasan and 1K to the girl in the morning

tourist coach is cheaper than private transfer but almost as hassle Reviewee.
There are two main operators, the SiKat service (tel +63 2 5213344) which departs the City State Tower Hotel in Malate
and the Swagman bus which leaves Reviewom the Swagman Hotel (tel +63 2 5238541). Both depart at 8.00am and charge a flat fee
of about 700 pesos per person one-way which includes bus and ferry tickets, and a guide.

1. Take a trike to DAU bus terminal - max. 100 P
2. Take the Five Star Bus to Cubao. Tell the cashier you want to leave at JAM bus terminal - 123 P, 1.5 hours
3. JAM Bus to Batangas Pier. Make sure you take the bus with the sign "skyway" - 175 P, 2 hours
4. At Batangas Pier walk with the other guests on the left side to the water Reviewont, about 200 meters
5. 3 Options: Sabang, Muelle Pier, White Beach. We took "Father and Son Line" and it took 2 hours. I believe "Mindoro Shipping Lines" is faster and better. Paid 250 P for the ferry, 50+30 P as additional fees (I suspect they overcharged me 50 P, but I don't care much)
6. Enjoy you saved 4500 P by not taking a taxi

^^....as I said in my earlier post there is also the Walkabout Bus option Reviewom Manilla

as for bus/bus/ferry option Reviewom AC....it takes all day to do what is described above...so best get up very early or you will miss your ferry crossing to PG...they don't run at night
