I also heard the rumor, and a fellow CRTer told me he saw a 2x1 pizza sign on the bldg. I am less certain about a bar below, but I HOPE that's the case.

I went into the pizza place, upstair this afternoon and was told I was the first customer. It is a large place and I wish them luck. I ask if was a Gringo that was opening downstairs. They said yes. It is to open on May 1ST. I forgot to ask what year?

Crappy pizza, hot chicas, I could live with that. What we need is a NY bar replacement in that area within short distance from the HDR with cheap food, drinks and cheap chicas. The Little Marlin and the Monkey Bar just don't cut it, at least the times that I have been there.

JB & Karen's is just a short walk away, around the corner from the Prez. Same as the extinct NY bar. A bunch of crusty old ex-pats, an American bar menu, a few loose older mujeres, and a cymbal to ring in the free drinks!

If you walk out of the Prez & basically make a U-turn, 2 quick lefts, onto Calle 7, you'll be there in 1 minute, from the dr, 2 minutes but you might want to take a cab if it's late.

Pepperoni pizza made and sold out of what was formerly someone's living room. Another unique concept.....but if the pizza is good,Costa Del Sol might be in trouble. Not everyone wants Don Gordo's chicken palm.
