It looks pretty nifty and the bulk of it can be left on the table all the time. There is a piece that comes out when needed. Best of all, it only cost about $50.

Yes, I have seen the Breast Rest in person. It's pretty nice, and I think most clients would like it. The LMT who invented it has taught at my school (she's awesome and SO knowlegeable) and she brought one to show us during an elective I took with her.

The only possible drawback, I think, is that I almost always use a table warmer, and the egg-crate foam is thick; I don't think the heat would penetrate. And, now that I think of it, I think I remember her saying that you shouldn't use a table warmer under it. I'll be interested in hearing what others have to say about it. Maybe one of these days I'll get one to try. I agree, the fifty dollars is a pretty great price, and I like how you don't have to remove it when the client is supine.

This looks really cool- the drawback for me is that the client would have to sit up and wait for you to take off the sheets, put the plug back in, and straighten the sheets again. But that's probably just my general lack of massage experience talking ... I suppose I'd just get really fast with practice.

You wouldnt have to use it for all your female clients. Only the bigger chested ones. I dont use anything for them, only once in a while do I get a complaint. I imagine, the extra comfort it would give them, they would understand the extra hassle of sitting up.

I like to have my table heated in the chillier parts of the year, so I wouldnt like it if I couldnt use my table warmer.

I agree about the table warmer, I always have mine on in the colder months.

The pad looks great though for an inexpensive option to buying a new table! The pad looks super comfy, but I wonder for those who tried it, was it too plush? I wouldn't want a pad that is too soft because I don't want all my pressure strokes to be absorbed by the foam crate padding. Can anyone attest to this aspect?

I use a breast pillow and all my clients love it. I put it in place, on top of the massage table covered with a pillow case before they lay down. When they are ready to slide down and turn supine, I instruct them that as they slide down, I'll be removing the pillow. I stand at the head of the table and as they slide, I take the pillow away. I've gotten rave reviews.

I have this one from massagewarehouse http://www.massagewarehouse.com/itemdetail~cat~103210302~MENU~103209307~item~220+0180.asp and the clients that I use it with just love it.

I have it under the sheet but on top of the warmer when they are face down and then remove it when they turn over. I don't use it for everyone, primarily for clients that are larger-chested or have sensitive breasts.
