I've been a long time Oasis client (6+ yrs and counting), so I decided to go and check out this "New Oasis" and see what it's all about. Not surprising, Andy, from MO, is the owner of this Oasis as well. The place is beautifuly decorated, just like all his previous spas and very clean.
To answer your questions:
1) Yes, this place is licensed. Rather than getting a holistic or body-rub license, I found out that this place has an acupuncture license. So therefore, it is not regulated by the City, instead, it is regulated by some sort of acupuncture organisation. The girl there told me it is actually better because now, they won't have to deal with the holistic or body-rub inspectors. Legally, they have no juresdiction. Apparently, holistic inspectors can only inspect "holistic licensed" places whereas "body-rub" inspectors can only inspect "body-rub" places. So this is actually safer. Sort of like the whole "nail salon" idea. They have different inspectors for nail salons / hair salons etc.
2) Eva (tall black girl) and Sophie (petite, busty, oriental girl) both from Ginger, and Jennifer (blonde Europeean, I think she's either hungarian or polish) from MO are working there. I also heard he hired few new girls as well.
3) Victoria is long gone. I don't think she's going back. Judy is now Ashley at Star Studio. She's not going back. Korean Christine is working full-time at Diamonds so she's not going back. Tammy (a.k.a Ginger's Tara) is now Summer at PA, plus I heard she's working at 2 other places so I don't think she's going back either.
Prices are still the same. DF is $40. T is $20, N is $40, NR is $60, and BS is $80. They're located right at the corner of Kennedy and Ellesmere, right behind Star Studio, directly facing Highlands Farms. North west corner of Kennedy and Ellesmere.
