Sounds like she couldn't stand the profession and has bailed to persue a completely different course in life.

Never got a chance to see her but one thing that I can say about the biz is that there's a good chance she will be back. Not trying to be cynical here but if she did leave midway through a shift it sounds like a rash decision rather than one that is planned out.

Nope, she had given her notice a while ago, Allure knew she was leaving.

The fact that she just bolted midway through a shift indicates to me that she couldn't stand it for even one second more. Probably counting the days till she left, then the last day came and she just couldn't hack it.

Though I agree with you that many of the women in the industry who "retire" always drift back. If you're working at one of the upper class places, the money is good, nay, great. Not too many jobs out there that I can think of that pay that kind of dough.
