I have a few suggestions for the new owner of Kamur:
Turn up the lights on the stage. You can hardly see the girls' bodies or faces because it is so dark (by the way, we come to your club to see the girls).
Ban the dancers' boots. Some of their boots go all the way up to their crotch. I know the dancers think we come to see how well they dress, but actually we come to see how well they undress. We like to see all of their legs, not just an inch or two.
Ban the dancers from smoking. Twenty dancers sucking on cigarettes all night fills the club with smoke and many Americans are health conscious enough that you will drive away business. It makes no sense.
The club used to serve free popcorn. The customers loved it, and management should have loved it because it made the customers thirsty and they drank faster and thus purchased more beer. You can increase your sales with a very small increase in costs. Start serving the free popcorn again.
Kamur used to have a great tiered VIP seating area. The previous owners tore it out and replaced it with a much larger stage. Then they decreased the the number of dancers by 50%. So they halved the number of dancers and doubled the size of the stage, and they ripped out the VIP area for good measure. My God. What were they thinking?
Put the pool table back in the club. It was a lot of fun and I think it was the only club in town with a pool table. Kamur used to be an informal fun club, and the pool table added to this atmosphere. It was a lot of fun to shoot pool with the dancers in the old days.
The prices for at least some of your drinks need to be revised. For example, Kamur charges $8.00 for a very small glass of Baileys. Atlantis and Elite both charge $20 for three large glasses of Baileys ($6.67 a drink). I know Atlantis and I know Elite, and Kamur ain't no Atlantis or Elite. I think they also charge $8.00 for many other drinks, all of which can be purchased retail in the supermarkets for about 75 cents a drink.
Private dances used to be $10 for three songs and there were so many takers that sometimes there was a waiting line. Today I think it is $25 for three songs and the booths are always empty when I have been there. The new owners should reconsider the elasticity of demand for private dances.
In past days, the girls would be nude long before the second song ended. Now it is common for them to be nude for about five seconds or less, and some don't even get nude. Management pays these girls to get naked and men come to the club to see them get naked. It won't cost the owner any more money to have them be naked for a long time instead of a short time, and it will increase customers, sales and revenues. It just doesn't make sense. What is the upside of only giving the customers a quick peek?
GET SOME PRETTY DANCERS!!!! The quality of Kamur's dancers has slowly but steadily declined ever since the previous owners took over more than a year ago. Today they are awful. Honest to God, most of your dancers today are solid threes (ruff ruff ruff). They are so fat and ugly that most of them probably couldn't get a job dancing at VIPS.
If you decide not to dramatically upgrade your girls, you can disregard all of the above suggestions. You might as well save your time and effort and money. Encourage them to wear high boots and keep the lights down low. The boots will help cover up the fat, and you can save money on your electric bill. Also you can let them smoke away because there won't be any Americans there to bother.
Kamur was once upon a time really a fun place with really pretty and nice girls. It can be again. It all depends on the policies of the owner.
