Las Margaritas revisited

Well, it USED to be lots of fun. Went there on a Monday night with another member, so famous I won't drop his name, and we were 66.6666666% of the clientèle there until a guy left and we were 100%. Granted it was only 10pm on a Monday night, but it was grim. Talent level was fair, about 7 girls there of whom 2 or 3 were decent. During our one drink (3$ cover) we saw 3 dancers, sorta. It's pretty hard to see anything with the lights out but we could tell SOMEBODY was dancing, anyway. The music was too loud, of course, but that's to be expected. The girls were bored, which was also no surprise. Karla, tall and skinny, is still there. We finished our mandatory beers and bid the place adieu for another few months, minimum.

Damn, now that seems pretty grim. Do these places ever get better as the night goes on? I wouldn't mind speaking to the tico manager and asking him why his place is so lame (in a respectful way of course).

There just seems no reason to me why there can't be a decent strip club in CR. Well not one that won't rob you blind at least :roll:
