Sadly, the place seemed to be sliding for some time. It's a shame, I always had fun there (well, usually). But I'm sure the girls will find work somewhere. There's always the Molino Rojo.

Sometimes you can see things coming. I'll admit this wasn't what I expected when I first heard of the mass defection to Josephine's. I thought they could replace the girls, but apparently they couldn't.

My last few trips were disappointing. The number of customers and girls was considerably less than before. The bathroom was in need of cleaning and some plumbing repairs. So management's response was to raise prices for taking a girl back to a room.

The thought process behind the price rise seemed counter-intuitive to me. The only reason I could think of was that in order to attract (or prevent defection) of quality (YMMV) girls, they needed to pay them more. Alas, it didn't work that way. Once they raised the price to 15k for a half hour, I never partook again. The last time I was in there I saw a girl from the Molino Rojo who, though cute, was a mediocre performer at best. Why pay 15k for what you can get for 8k at the Molino Rojo, only a few minutes cab ride away?

Despite all that, I will be wearing a black armband in mourning.

I to am sad of the demise on Las Margaritas as well. About a year ago it was a rocking place. Seems they raised prices twice fist to 12000 col and then 15000. I am with Bilko and just dont see it being a 15000 place.I have found the near Perfect night club in Peru and will posting a review. Too bad they have such a hard time figuring it out in San Jose.rbc100
