Hi Everyone,,,
For starters "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"
Still a rookie here,,,I just posted a thread,,but I don't think it went through properly. I for some reason checked off poll and did not want that. ooops.
So therefor I am posting again,,just incase you see double "Subject"
I just wanted to pass on some important information for those who frequent the parlours. Please Read.
"Escape Studio's" in Brampton at Torbram and Steeles have camera's with microphones hooked up to them, in all of their rooms. The main phone line conversations also has a recorder hooked up to it,and conversations are recorded.
They have told the girls that the camera's and microphones do not record but they do.
Just wanted to let the public know.

How do you know this? Rumor or confirmed first hand knowledge?

Assuming that the facts are true as stated, what are the legal issues (if any) of recording conversations or images without consent or waiver?

This one has a fishy smell, but I'm not yet sure where it is coming from.....

Thank you for taking a interest in what I posted.
The information posted is first hand.
I am a ex employee of this establishment.
I find this sight to be very imformative for all,,weather they be men or women reading.
This information is for all men who visit parlours and all women looking for employment.
As far as the legal standing of these hidden camera's and microphones I have no idea,,,but would be interested in knowing that answer if any one has a answer.

Do you have proof of this happening besides just your word? And what do
the girls get out of this by keeping their mouths shut ?
Why did you only bring this out now that you no longer work there?
Or could this only be because you are a pissed off

I actually registered to massageplanet.net about a month ago. I had first emailed "Fred" with partial information,,because I was unsure if info like this could be posted.
I held off with this info because I still had a friend working there.
I am not a pissed off employee,,lol. I sauntered out of there.
As to why the girls keep their mouth shut I can't answer that except that some girls are maybe just comfortable with where they are and some just don't know any better.
I would sincerly hope nothing is being done with the video's,,I wish I knew.
As far as only my word,,if memory serves me correct room 2 with the tacky orange vine right infront of the door,,,if you move it you will see the camera hole.
I am not on this site to steer people in any wrong way,,but I can understand why some might think that at first.

There has been some talk here about cameras and recordings. First the video pervert, now this. I guess with cameras the size of pinholes these days, incidences will happen from time to time. I hope this thread isn't pure revenge, but accurate, because the reputation to the Escape Studios has probably already suffered a great deal.

You say you hope nothing is being done with the video...If a guy sets this kinda thing up, I don't think he's going through all the trouble just for the hell of it. Might as well go all the way and give us the owner's name.

Yes there has been quite alot of talk about camera's here,,also on the news.
Unfortunately there are people out there that use these Bond like devices to their advantage and take advantage of people who have no idea.

As for the suffering,,I don't believe they have the right to have these in the rooms.
It would be one thing if there was a sign posted to let the patrons know that they are on candid camera,,but there is not.
Shouldn't men and women have the right to know before they walk into any type of establishment,,especially one such as this?

I'm sure there are probably alot out there more than the 3 that have been metioned. Unfortunately like Mingo had metioned camera's are pretty well everywhere.
How many are actually recording the sessions?

Like I said "I hope nothing is being done with these video's",,and yes that's a very good point you made about someone going through all this trouble. Unfortunately I do not know for sure of what is being done.
When I had emailed Fred,,It was to find out if info like this could be posted,,and his reply to sum it up was yes. Was not sure about the guidelines of this site,,,so I inquired. At the time of that email I sent I was not working at this establishment.
Yes the date you posted on my first thread is correct "What is legal",,as I wrote "just trying to help". I don't know if I was much help,,but sometimes having worked the business you have a little bit more of a insight to a subject that alot of people still look at being so taboo.
No,,my friend is no longer there.
To the comment you made about the relaxed attitude I had there,,thank you,,lol.
Again,,it was only my first post,and I was waiting on my friend to leave.
You also asked how revealing this could hurt her. She expressed that she felt that business would slow down,and asked if I could post pone the revelation.
This is just information that I wanted the public to know,,The owner does not have the decency to post some type of notice to let his customers and employees know. So massageplanet.net is the next best thing.

(to my knowledge, recording someone without their consent is still Illegal )

If your a potential customer or a potential employee.
People have the right to know.
Owners feel they have the right to know,watch and record whats going on.
The public should have the right to know they are being watched and recorded.

Yes they are. Image or sound is the same, if they want to have it Legally :

1. They have to have it posted clearly for all customers to see
2. They have to have signs in the room to indicate where the Cameras Are

Not sure of your accuracy since again, you display a very relaxed and nonchalant attitude towards a very serious accusation. Telling everyone to check for pinholes doesn't fly. Who did you say the owner was again? If you are going for a libel suit, might as well go all the way. If you have first hand knowledge of a law being broken...go to the authorities.

I only posted this to let people know that if they do decide to venture into this spa,,this is what's happening.
This is the info that I know,,first hand. What people decide to do with this info is totally up to them.

I kinda new posting this,,I would have to answer some questions or doubts.

Someplaces have cameras outside, to tape the parking lot!
Ask yourself, where does it finish?
There was a stat in England that stated that we were taped and I sure I'm off the number somewhat, but it was like around 20 to 30 times in a day. Makes you think and wonder, Big Brother is Watching You!!

Very true Mingo,,If you can get a hold of a copy of Maxim Magazine Oct/01 issue,,I had read a very interesting article in there about camera's. England has the most,,somewhere in the 1million mark.
Somebody is definately watching,,MP owners included.

Just exactly what is your problem.
You were caught telling a lie in your last post.
I even offered to show your visit to the LOBBY on tape to prove this point. To date you have not taken me up on this.
Maybe you just don't want to look even more foolish, since you already know what the tape will show!!
In the meantime, there are 4 cameras recording the lobby and the halls of Healing Hands. There are 3 good reasons for this:

#1 - Security
#2 - Making sure that the attendants give my customers all the time they have paid for.
#3 - Making sure I get paid for every session.

By the way, it is illegal to tape audio or video in any treatment room, and you can be sure that L.E. has checked them on more than one occasion.

Guys, get real here!!
If you think that cameras are not in some MP, then I have a bridge for sale in New York for you!
I know two places that have cameras.
These were told to me by MPA, who worked there.
One I confirmed myself, as it was a place I went on a reguler bases and I can tell you I have never been back since.
I was told that they were there to keep an eye on some MPA who the management thought were doing more then management wanted.
Don't ask me which places these are, as I don't it's my place to state names, but I think the owners of MP who write on this board should come out and affirm or denye this, that are places that have cameras, because they know!
But before they write anything, they should be aware that the truth always comes out!
