Looking for a real Thai massage...!

Hi all,

I just came back froma few months in Thailand.

I had a massage ever 2 days.

Now I'm here and I'm truly sad...

Is there anywhere in Montreal where I can get a real Thai massage, or a strong massage by a qualified person and possibily get the extra tug... without having to pay a gazillion dollars?

I mean, its just a thai technique of muscular massage. Or does "thai massage" another meaning?

I just want a properly executed technical massage. And to have some little options really is a bonus.

As for thailand... WOW!

2 hours of thai massage : 10$ (250-400 Baht)
HJ: 17$ (500 baht)
BBBJ: 35 (1000 baht) (she will usually include the massage session)
FS: Never tried.

Just remember a rule of thumb, whatever price you hear, always counter-offer 60-50%... in the worst case they will say no... but rarely do.

I love Bangkok... but I need to sandy beaches (bitches) and ocean. So I'm totally addicted to Phuket. Especially Patong Beach. If you ever go or need more info let me know. I'll be more than happy to relay some crucial information

Lotus Palm is a school and offers massages using Thai or Thai Yoga techniques. This is a fully clothed massage that uses stretching and accupressure techniques on a floor mat.

A usual session is 90 minutes for 90 dollars. No finishing options available, but you body feels very good and loose afterwards.

Also if you look in craigslist, under therapeutic, there are also a couple of people that offer thai massage.

Neverbored, I think I know what you are looking for. Recently at my favorite place (H&B spa on Upper Lachine 514-481-4774) Lisa offered me a different kind of experience. She told me she started to study the Thai massage, or Yoga-Thai massage technique. She was offering this to only a fiew special clients for now and it was a 2 hour session ($100).
Now, I got all excited about her offer because I thought it was something of a mix between the "Thai" we all refer to in this forum and a few yoga poses just for the theraputic side of it.
Well, I was wrong. I checked "after" the thai session on internet and discovered what a thai massage really is. It has nothing to do with the body too body rub we kind of prefer or expect.
Lisa (chinese, 32 y, small but solid built) is starting to study this technique so she might need some practice, I am not sure since I don't know how the real thai massage should feel. I did like the experience and I am considering a return visit to Lisa for another two hour session.
This is all I can say for now. I hope it was helpfull.
