Major Changes in MM
Stage 1 (Staring Dec 07, 2011)
1) All the accounts with no posts in the past 36 months or more will be removed from MM
2) All the inactive accounts will be deleted
3) All the accounts with no activity in the past 24 months will be deleted

Stage 2 (Starting February, 2012)
1) members with no posts will be dis-activated from MM
2) Masseuses access will be limited to ONLY the Girls section
3) Sponsors will have their own section to post and no access to certain review sections
4) New members will be accepted ONLY via reference ( existing members or sponsors )
5) No more new sponsors will be accepted to MM unless the Elite board of directors accept them as sponsors.

been here for a couple years.........i come once in a while ti get infos. I sure would like to still be able to come from time to time. The new rules about inactive accounts i can understand, but cutting acess to all.....

Well, it's about exchanging the info here. If no one posts then there is no point of having this board.
MM was created with serious hobbyist who want to share info in mind. Most of our dedicating members
spend lots of money to find the gems and fakes in this biz , your contribution is important to all.
I am sure you know what I mean. We always tried to have quality over quantity.
For those members who want to just read the posts without contributing, there are two other boards eforum.xxx.ca and Merc.ca
none of the contributors of our board happy with lurking, so we decide to just allow the girls and the contributing members stay in MM.
The MM Forum is currently closed to the public. So there is no reason for not posting.

Hi everyone,

I am glad I caught this thread. While I agree with the idea of limiting lurkers, I must admit that I have been one. After several initial encounters and posts 4 years ago I found myself in am on-and-off relationship which ended after three years before the summer. During that time, I kept up with hobbying through this site as a form of therapy for my wandering eye, (ok and venturing out very infrequently on "breaks") and never had an informative encounter to post. Now single again I have only been with one MP (Jadeve) but will no doubt look elsewhere after she retires (aka "finds love" :0). I appreciate this site and use it frequently for curiosity sake, but there will also be a time where I presume I will be back on the prowl for the perfect MP for me, which I have found for the timebeing thanks to this site. I will and have always shared any relevant information. I ask that certain exceptions be made for members like me, on a case by case basis perhaps? I imagine there are similar stories out there...

If not that's ok, I'll try to hold my breath in the stink of the green board. Either that or I will run out tomorrow and toftt for reviewing sake.

Well,

I have absolutely no issue with what you are proposing. If hobbyists do not post...well too bad for them. This board is all about sharing. If you want to get valuable information...you have to share valuable information....it is very simple.

My only suggestion would be that if someone wants to be a member, there should be some sort of a process to follow, like: contacting the the board administrator and requesting permission to join. Then some obligations would need to be fulfilled and limited privileges could be allowed. Anyhow...my two cents.

It isn't the first time this forum has gotten rid of the dead wood. Back in 2006 we did the same thing, cutting out about half the members in one sweep. Funny thing is. It only took a few months for the numbers to double again and we're well beyond those old numbers now.

In reality there are thousands of members who log on for one time, lurk about for a few hours and never return. There are spammers who create accounts and never use the forum whatsoever. Then there are those accounts that come on and lurk about once in a blue moon when the wife left town or as in the cases above who go in and out of relationships and frequent the forum when suddenly their tired of masturbating in the office bathroom at lunch. And finally the worse of the bunch are those who have forgotten their passwords or account names and re-create new ones. The loss of these members is of no great loss and for all intensive purposes 90% of them won't even know their accounts have been deleted. And the other 10% will simply think "oh well" and attempt to create a new account only to find out they can't.

For the guys who do frequent Salons on the rarest of occasions and use the forum for up to date info, well you guys will have to contribute so that others may benefit from your experiences just as you benefited from theirs. Keeping the account active is not only fair but part of maintaining your membership. The membership is free and the only price is a little effort and time on your part. No matter how insignificant you "think" your info is, it has value to other members.

If you find yourself unable to access MM its because you failed to participate on the forum. I do believe the whole idea behind any forum is for it to be interactive. If you're not Interacting then why keep an inactive member?

Kojak... this is my 448th post as this handle...since 2003 I've posted in the thousands... some of my posts have been comments... some of my posts will go down in history... but in the end they all contributed to Montreal Massage... and it is what it is today because of members like myself... who for years I have called Brothers and yes there are Sisters too. Less I forget those young ladies who came on board, that I was lucky to meet and even luckier to call them girlfriends and lovers...

good thing I caught this thread, I agree with everyone if you don't share you shouldn't read what people are sharing, which I haven't been doing!
I have a question what happens to members that don't have zero posts but not many reviews? Are we going to get our accounts deactivated or do we get a probationary period to start contributing being part of the community?

I am currently deactivating all the accounts with zero post . The next move is to deactivate the accounts with 1 post in the past 24 months and then 2 posts in the past 24 and so on ....
The accounts with an average of 4 posts a year will remain active in MM.
If those members can not post one review every 3 months , then it is better to go on eforum.xxx.ca or Merc.ca ..... those sites tolerate the lurkers.
However all the guests and none-members can read the sponsor's NEWS section for the schedule and updates of their girls.
If you really want to be a member of this board the I suggest what Kojak suggested ....
